16-year-old Jawaad Jabbar got out a gun and demanded merchandise from the men. One of the men, who police say had a valid concealed carry license, produced his gun and shot Jabbar.

Concise and to the point. I like it.

But of course.

This poor poor child with no shoes and pants that don’t quite fit. I am deeply saddened he was killed— he was just trying to clothe himself.

JJ was . . . turning his life around

He had apparently been an altar boy but decided instead to turn to robbery.

trying to steal shoes from a man with a concealed carry license

Waiting for people to accuse the shooter of "baiting" this poor misguided youth.

JJ was a good kid, making good decisions and turning his life around.

Let this be a lesson to others. All the good decisions in the world can get nullified by one bad decision.

JJ was a good kid, making good decisions and turning his life around.

I beg to differ. In what civilized world does participating in an armed robbery make him a good kid making good decisions?

What the heck was he doing before he started turning his life around such that committing armed robbery was a step in the right direction?

"I just want to send prayers out to his family and he will really be missed," a fellow football teammate, Messiah Haralson, told FOX19 NOW.

I'm surprised that you, MESSIAH, of all people, do not know that you do not "send prayers out TO his family," you send out prayers FOR his family, TO God. Sending out prayers TO his family will do no good. Some Messiah you are.

“JJ was a good kid, making good decisions and turning his life around.

Except that he tried to rob the wrong guy. I wonder how many others he had robbed before.
