Retired NYPD members are discussing ways to keep New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio away from the funerals of recently-murdered NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu.
One tactic, suggested in a popular law enforcement web forum, instructed officers to block the Mayors motorcade when it approached one of the funerals:
All unions should reach out to their retired members. Use us to block this POS Mayor from attending these funerals. I dont know if the fallen are from the City or not, but it shouldnt matter.
We can assemble en masse, and start a peaceful protest when his motorcade approaches. Well have cars too which might break down in various intersections. He wont get within 5 blocks.
How can they stop us? 10,000 summonses for obstructing vehicular traffic? Lets do this and let the whole country see what we think of him. Let them see the blood on his hands. Count me in. Just contact us and let us know where and when.
I have direct deposit for my pension check if I happen to get collared. Plenty of sick days left too so I will be at both funerals. Lets do this instead of the active MOS so they dont have to fear consequences from the Mayor, the Mayors husband, or their puppet Commissioner.
Another poster suggested officers turn their backs on the mayor at the funeral: I got a better idea
?? turn our backs on Deblasio at the funerals (just like at the hospital) BUT when hearse & family are present, we face forward like we always do; ie, upon arrival & after service
THAT is where all the cameras will be
BUT again, we should not expose the families to any of this

Bump
Burn a picture of Stalin and send him into deep despair.
Bigger fear is the thugs marching on the funerals to make further statements. Back by the black leaders, of course.
Put up a cardboard pic of de MArxist and sell attempts to stick him with a thrown handaxe.
Issue a formal request that he can best show respect by not attending? See what he does
I would think that if the families requested he not be there, that would have to be enough.
If de Blasio had class he would stay away from the grieving families and the funerals... How dare he force himself into a situation he created...
There is indeed a way to make sure.
It should be up to the families ONLY.
i can't believe even deBLOWsio would want that kind of bad press...
If I were the officers, and the mayor started giving his speech, I’d be raising such a hoot and holler that he couldn’t get a word in edgewise.
Don’t you just love the NYPD? They will stand up and not stand aside.
Schedule one of those al sharptongue kill a cop rallies and he’ll go there to make a speech instead.
Why don’t they quit playing games and just replace all the elected officials that they disagree with, they have the guns and the armored cars, and evidently are not as tied to obeying the law as some people think.
Once they unionized, they started on the path of taking over our cities politically.
Have the police ESCORTING the motorcade stop it.
If either of the deceased officers have signed the stay-away request, or if the survivors request that the mayor stay away, that request should be honored and enforced by the Police Dept. by any means necessary.
That would be the biggest mistake of their lives. I sense a boiling point is about to be reached.
