Having never been on a subway in my life, I have no idea if this is a big problem.
Bridget Ellsworth, a 28-year-old music teacher, views manspreading as sexual harassment because some men engage in it near her even when the subway car is not packed.
So they complain about taking up space and then complain some more when space doesn't matter. Whiners.
Kelley Rae ODonnell, who confronts manspreaders and posts their photos online, captured an image of one on a train this month.

They’re called “balls”, Bridgette. Perhaps I’ll start a campaign against fat women with enormous breasts and start measuring their physical dimensions on public transport.
Would that be ok, too Bridgette?
I thought not.
Now shut up and go make me a sammich.

Thank goodness I actually READ the article for once! At first I thought this was some sort of new thug display posturing - as in they were droppin’ trou and spreading their cheeks, LOL!

Talk all you want lady, I'm immune.
I've suffered through the LTAWWWY (Let's Talk About What's Wrong With You) sermon for ages. I've heard it all from many different women, and you're not even in the top 10 sermonizers.
It's a reflex with me now, I can tune out a harpy like you in under a second.
Same with the YGBYW (You're Guilty Because You're White) speech. Heard it so many times it just rolls right off.

I had no idea this was such a horrible problem.
Why hadn't we heard of this "bane" & "scourge" before today? I mean, public transit has been around for a hundred years.
And I thought women no longer felt constrained by antiquated victorian sensibilities to keep their own legs clamped shut in public... don't tell me they still do?
