Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited North Korean leader Kim Jong Un to Moscow next year to mark the 70th anniversary of the Soviet defeat of Nazi Germany in World War Two, the Kremlin's spokesman said on Friday.
It would be Kim's first foreign visit since taking the helm of the reclusive east Asian state in 2011. His personal envoy came to Moscow last month in the framework of efforts by the two Cold War-era allies to improve relations.

Keep your enemies closer......
Looks like time to impeach King Obama and rebuild the military including the nuke supply. World War III is on the horizon. No way to stop it.
Is 0bama granting diplomatic normalization and international trade to Kim like he did to Castro?
Why not?
Methinks WWIII is already underway.
Great news! We can nuke Moscow in May and kill two birdbrains with one payload.
I have to believe Russia was behind the hacking (best in world) to embarrass the US and warn them of things that could happen on many fronts.
I’ll bet Kim doesn’t go. Things are fragile in NK government and he’d be wise not to leave. They might not let him back in. LOL
It's working so far. Our response couldn't have been more embarrassing.
Yes. WE NEED TO REBUILD OUR MILITARY.
Obama has made a mess of things. He has encouraged a dangerous network of enemies to develop. Some of those enemies would be enemies no matter what. Some are because of the ineptness of this administration.
Make no mistake, whatever the reason, even if it is ZERO’s fault, you make yourself our enemy and we have regime change: WATCH OUT!
was it an invitation or an order from HQ???
If it came from Beijing I know it would be an “order.”
I know everyone will say "but they started it by invading Ukraine." I am talking about Russia's view. To them that is none of our business and the U.S is the instigator.
Or the invite is because Putin wants info on how to pull off a similar hack job on U.S. interests.
“In Russia’s view, we started it by setting out to tank their economy.”
+1
I would have let them have that piece of Ukraine, if they Ukraine (mostly ethnic Russians) voted to go. The same thing happened to East Germany.
Instead, we have forced Russia into having only raw nationalism and war as an option.
Doesn’t seem wise.
Doesn’t excuse any atrocity committed there.
“Putin wants info on how to pull off a similar hack job on U.S. interests.”
Someone I know in a gov’t agency told me that Russian hackers are head and shoulders above every other country. To me it makes more sense that Russia did this to warn the US and to make ties to Korea.
It effectively spreads out the US against Iran, China, Russia and Korea.
I may be wrong.
Exactly! Well said.
No matter what your view on Ukraine, let the game of chess offer a clue. PROTECT YOUR QUEEN. You don’t protect a pawn at the expense of your queen. At least not if you want to stay in the game.
It may not end in mutual destruction by nukes. It may end in mutual destruction by completely tanked economies. Will we still be laughing when we start having a run on banks here?

Agreed. My take is the the next war will certainly include hacking of a country’s infrastructure. Russia has already done this in its last 3 grabs for territory. All cause chaos and eliminate coordination inside a nation. These include:
Destroying the power grid
Chaos in the banking system
Chaos in the government systems
Chaos in FAA coordination of air flights
Internet nodes down.
Prepare now.
Communication - buy handheld radios. Some have a 35 mile distance for communication
Electric - generators - particularly, if your home requires electric to power a heater blower fan or is electric heat.
Stash cash in your home. Atms will be down.
Food. Preppers are correct. Be prepared.
Water. Provide for yourself.
Add to this the upcoming Sovereign Debt Crisis. It will not be pretty.
Good advice.
Do you think anyone in government is paying attention to that list of threats?
Don’t think Russia was behind it. North Korea has plenty of reasons to be mad at the United States in their own right.
Assad’s closest allies are in Pyongyang. Syria-Nork cooperation goes back decades. Where do you think the Syrians get all their meth?
If the US hadn’t started the Arab Spring, the world would still be a dangerous place. But it wouldn’t look like this, where we’re on the precipice of WWIV and on the side of the Islamo-Nazis.
And, BTW, Sony is indirectly (that is to say, directly) controlled by the Japanese Imperial Household Ministry. And the Norks have no love for the Emperor - remember, they were a Japanese colony.
