The leaders of China are Marxist, through and through and instill Marxist thought in to the populace. Communism is not a cartoon of everything is free with no business ever being done, as you try to use as a distortive straw man.
The Marxist view of the oppressed and oppressor, the victim and victimizer as dominant paradigm is a hallmark of Communism and is strong in China. It is used as a weapon (same way liberals try to use it here).
China, the eternal victim country has the superior morality and right to behave and demand anything they want. this is communist thought through and through.
You somehow think it is OK to label it not communist, so therefore it is acceptable. Even if we were to accept your labeling, that doesn't make it right or acceptable.
For example, I do think the label National Socialist fits very well for China now with all the implications of that term.

This is probably the first action Obama has done that I do not disagree with him on but I'm sure his message and objective is not in line with my own and probably not with yours. He loves commies and is rewarding them for being as anti-american as he is. That's how he sees it. We see it differently. I do not agree with how Obama’s doing this.
We should normalize relations with Cuba as much as we have with Vietnam. I've seen many positive results coming out of Vietnam since normalizing relations with them... still a lot of work for them to do but certainly not the same Vietnam of the 80s and 90s.

Every time we “normalize” relations with a communist country, we become more like a communist country ourselves. Think very carefully about agreeing with Obama on this. If you think that “no good” happens when we are at enmity, it’ll be lots worse with “normal” relations.
Probably, but we live under a dictatorship so it doesn't matter, I guess. Besides, if the Senate is going to approve this, let's hope they do it when under the control of the democrats. This is NOT a good political move.

That would be because of the "leaders" we vote into office not because of the relations we have with particular governments.
You know how many people have actually been returning to Vietnam recently because there it's easier to open up a business than it is in this nation of ours? That's very telling.
Your comment made me remember back during the Bush vs Kerry election where these people from France were trying to get Americans to vote against Bush. I told them to stay out of our politics. They told me that they have a right to get involved in our elections because the results of our elections have a direct effect on their country.
I responded with: "Well, that's a sign of no leadership in your own country. Perhaps you should focus more on your own elections and less on that of other nations."
The only reason we normalized relations with Vietnam and threw POW/MIAs under the bus is because the traitors Kerry and McCain had business deals all over the country. Kerry should have faced a firing squad in 1973 for treason when he lied about soldiers committing war crimes and John McCain should have been changed with treason many times over for his shameful treatment of the POW issue. Speaking of Vietnam and Cuba, the worst interrogators by far in North Vietnam prison camps were sadistic Cubans. Many an American POW died at their hands. But that’s OK with Obamagabe, he wants to play golf with Castro.
the second treason charge against Kerry is that he gave aide and comfort to the enemy by going to Paris and imposing his opinion into the peace talks, interfering with our governments efforts.
Haven't they suffered enough?

Of course we should demand changes. That's why I disagree on how Obama's doing it.
At this point I'm more concerned about our privatized health insurance industry and our own freedom of speech.
I supported 100% the embargo against Cuba since the day I was born through the LBJ, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush41 and Clinton administrations. After decades of failure, it's time to try something differently.
I do not support the way Obama's doing it. I just know the embargo's been a failure and no longer support it.
I have lived in Canada most of my life and I could have gone to Castroland but never have. Still nothing there to see from my point of view and there are much better alternatives available for a vacation.

I’m all for this. Forget Castro, he’s on death’s door. I want this to happen to help the Cuban people, who have been told Lord knows what lies about “American Imperialism” for 60+ years.
It’s only easier to open a business in Vietnam as a means to an end, just like Red China. As soon as the big enemy (the USA) comes down, watch things change rapidly.
The fact that we have the highest corporate tax rate on the planet certainly indicates how far left the DC elite politicians have taken us.
Incidentally, as for France, they surrendered their sovereignty to the “European Union” decades ago. Never mind their continued predilection to vote for avowed and open socialists.
