Now that Jeb Bushknown widely as Bush 45, or Bush cuarenta y cinco, or, simply, El Jefe Jebhas completed his two terms in the White House, we can look back and summarize some of the major events of his administration.
As we know, America has seen great change during the third Bush presidency, starting with its population, which has grown by some 30 percent these past eight years. Indeed, today, well more than 400 million people live in Americamost of them either citizens, or citizens-to-be. And while establishing Spanish as the Second Language of America has not been without controversy, such mandatory bilingualism is, as House Speaker Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) has said, a fitting tribute to the historic trailblazing role of First Lady Columba Garnica Gallo Bush.
And so its worth pausing over some of the highlights of the Bush 45 era.
We can start, first, with the Milagro de 2016the Miracle of 2016. In particular, how did Jeb manage to overcome the accumulated Bush fatigue of the previous three-and-a-half decades? How did Jeb transcend the instinctive anti-dynastic impulses of the American people?
Part of his success was a deliberate indirection as to his intentions. For the better part of three years, from 2013 to 2015, Jeb seemed to go back and forth, zigging and zagging; that is, he would seem like a candidate one day, and then seem not like a candidate the next day. During that time, many other possible Republican candidates had their brief moment in the sun; yet none were able to gain momentum so long as Jeb was waiting in the wings...

We need to proliferate RINOs. Come on Jeb, Mittens, Fat Boy, Goober, and the rest!
So is everyone going to stay home on election day if Bush is the candidate and enable other 4 years of advancing the Liberal agenda for our country?
Yes.
“The new budget bill passed permitting donations of $324,000 to candidates. Jebs team will make sure there is no shortage of well-funded conservative candidates.”
What have you been smoking?
He certainly looks like his mother.
Who are your one or two “to the core” conservatives?
Bush 45 will have two words in it..No way..or maybe three words: ‘No F**king Way!’
Compared to Charlie Crist, yes he was... compared to Gov. Rick Scott, Jeb sucked. Sorry no more Kennedys, Clinton’s, Rockefeller’s, Bushes, Tafts or any other political families.
Barack won’t be the last Obama politician.
I’m in for Cruz right now. There’s talk of several others, but I’m not dead set on them yet. I don’t want to name them because I’m not.
I could be talked off Cruz too, if I were to find out some things I don’t know about yet.
I’m not one of these guys who picks a guy early, and then won’t change no matter what.
What I do know, is that I won’t be backing Jeb.
My first choice is Allen West but I support Cruz as well.
I like Allen. I am not convinced he has enough Executive leadership skills yet. That may be an inaccurate perception, but so far that’s my take. With more time, I could back him. I like what I’ve seen.
Yes, with great joy.
NEVER AGAIN WILL I VOTE FOR A RINO.
“I have a real hard time imagining the American public electing Jeb Bush as President.”
The purpose of a bush nomination would be to keep democrats in power.
>>Otherwise we get to vote for bad choice #1 or bad choice #2.<<
THAT is the problem. We let them dictate to us what bad choice to make. No more of this “hold your nose” crap. At this point in our history, it doesn’t matter which wing of the Uniparty is in control.
The solution is simple: take away their power - money, volunteers and votes. It won’t matter who wins; we lose. NOTHING EVER CHANGES.
dear alas!,
Tbl ‘govoryou po-Ispanski’, dah?
‘yah govoryou po-russki’.
ni kagda nichevaw pahnimaiyou po-ispanski!!!
He caved on Schiavo when doing so would hurt his ambitions. No mas Bushes.
“So is everyone going to stay home on election day if Bush is the candidate and enable other 4 years of advancing the Liberal agenda for our country?”
Yes.
I would rather have a democrat in office we can fight tooth and nail than a moderate republican who’ll have his agenda rubber-stamped by conservatives in Congress just because of his party affiliation.
That attitude helped elect ad reelect Obama.
I don’t care. Better Obama to oppose than his doppelgänger Romney, who would have pursued the same agenda with the eager assistance of Republicans in Congress.
If we don’t start standing up for this nation, we’ll never get her back on the right track.
