Several players on both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets, including LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Kyrie Irving and Deron Williams, wore black "I Can't Breathe" T-shirts during pregame warm-ups Monday, following in the footsteps of Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose who wore the same shirt in a game Saturday to show support for the family of Eric Garner.

LeBron should wear a T-shirt that says “I’m OVERRATED” or “I’M A FRAUD” first he left Cleveland because they couldn’t win a title, so he goes to Miami, once Miami began to suck he bailed..so sick of him he is LeDouche

He can’t breathe because he usually chokes.
To: Charles Henrickson
Actually, given Irving’s propensity for chucking, he should have “I can’t pass” on his shirt.

These multimillionaires have to realize that they are entertainers and that no one really cares about their opinion on anything other than the game they play.
Just saw "A Football Life" about Brandon Marshall. Made me think some of these multimillionaires can be a force for good.

In my opinion, the sports idolatry in this country is a big part of the evidence that we are in decline as a nation. When people seek entertainment above everything else, we are in trouble. Stop watching Mr. James and the others who should stay out of politics, a topic most of them know little about. But, then, that would be easy for me since I am not a fan of any of them. They are simply people who happened to grow taller than most and can run up and down a rather small court. For most, that is their main talent.

Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the People have abdicated our duties; for the People who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses The government is supply the bread for 47% of the population today and subsidizes the entertainment industry heavily.
All the mental effort people put in to their fantasy leagues would be much better use thinking about how their government is screwing up their lives.

I’m guessing most of the police at NBA games have a wide selection of rap CD’s in their cars.

Anyone whose shirt says “I can’t breathe” should be barred from
the game and sent to the hospital. Not fit for the competition.
Thank you kindly for the post and ping, AG and LVDave!

He can’t breath and is suffocating in all that money, so call his sponsors to explain why you are going to boycott them.

LeBron should take some of his tens of millions of personal dollar wealth to finance cameras for the local police.
Put your money where you mouth is LeBron.
