Every once in a while the truth slips out
The AP reported that Obama went to see the doctor today because the rain kept him off the golf course where he spends most Saturdays.
Acid reflux is caused when the contents of the stomach flow back up the esophagus, causing heartburn and other symptoms. Treatments include avoiding certain foods and using over-the-counter or prescription medications, including antacids.
White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Jackson suggested that Obama have the diagnostic test done on Saturday afternoon because the president had free time in his schedule. Rain kept Obama off the golf course, where he spends most Saturdays when the weather permits.
Obama has golfed at least 203 times since becoming president.
Stupidcare’s the new normal...
So, wan you tell us what you really think about the pResident...?
Excessive stomach acid and excessive lying can contribute to the development of Gastro Esophageal Disorder (GERD). But will the media tell the truth that it is aOdummers lying is causing the problem. Subconsciously the body is telling Obama tell the truth. NO the media will say it is because Obama is so upset by what has happened in NY and Ferguson! Everyone knows that AP is short for Apartchik - the tool media of Obama
Not much use not liking him. He’s just an errand boy.
It’s the people dreaming up the orders that get relayed to him, the ones really in control of America, those are the ones calling the shots. Those are the ones that see us as sheeple and hate the fact that us sheeple use what they see as “their” resources.
It’s all “above his pay grade”.
Is acid reflex terminal?
I'm not sure that the first test that would come to mind to order on a 53 year old former (?) smoker would be a CT scan of the neck. If Obama is half as arrogant in managing his own health care as he is about everything else, it could make for an interesting two years.
You might remember what happened to Congressman John Murtha. Our leaders always receive only the very best medical care, don't they?
It is very possible the real reason for Obama’s illness is he and his handlers did not want to go to the highly publicized loveliest funeral services the black community was holding that day in Washington, DC for Marion Barry, arguably one of the most corrupt African American politicians of the late 20th and early 21st century. Many national prominent African Americans attended and it was well covered in the black blogosphere and media. This event was of great significance to the national black community, not just to the citizens of Washington.
An deliberate Obama no show at this important community event would have angered African American voters, while attending would have required him to share the stage with Louis Farrakkan and Jessie Jackson. Obama is not a man who likes to share the limelight, particularly when he and his people are not in control of the moment.
In addition, the event ran for hours and Obama is well known having a short attention span. His attendance at organized functions is normally well choreographed, perfunctory and brief. A brief token Obama appearance at Barry’s funeral would have been interpreted by many blacks as a huge sign of disrespect. Obama likely had no desire to spend most of the day listening to speakers drone on about Barry’s contributions to the community. Better to feign illness, and waste the time of the military doctors at Walter Reed, than to diss the Barry funeral.
The administration was represented. Valerie Jarrett and Eric Holder attended the event. It is noteworthy the national mainstream media has given considerable coverage to Obama’s sore throat and little mention to the Barry funeral. The absence of press coverage for this prominent politician’s funeral has not been criticized.
It was fortunate for Obama the weather was cool and rainy. Imagine if the day had been sunny with temperatures in the 60’s, perfect for his Saturday golf outing. How would they have spun Obama on the links during the Barry service?
By most accounts Obama is about as good on the golf course as he is at being president.
Is acid reflex terminal?
No but esophageal cancer usually is. Trouble is it would take to long to save us from King Putt’s last 2 years.
Hey 0 do what you tell us to do, get a bottle of cheap TUMS for your GERD.
Lay off the spicy, oily junk food.
I always suspected he had some kind of digestive disorder but I thought it was RDD not reflux. Reverse Digestive Disorder is when your digestive tract works in reverse. There are many symptoms but the most telling one is that every time the patient opens his mouth $hit comes out. The Magic Negro seems to suffer from a very advanced case.
What an ugly golf swing...Not as ugly as Barkley’s though.
Tell me about it, my GERD is DRUG INDUCED. OA, HRT, and a host of others I’ve been given in the past 30 yrs. Has made GERD a permanent fixture of my health conditions. I now have Barret’s Esophagus to contend with. Then you have bone density issue as PPI’s cause OP. And there are 2 small studies, by no means large enough, that link long term PPI usage to Gastroparesis. A Nasty Slow Motility disorder. http://www.webmd.com/digestive-disorders/digestive-disorders-gastroparesis
Smoking, too much alcohol and certain foods when added to continual high stress can make acid reflux a very serious and dangerous illness.
Treatment with the H2 Blockers and proton pump inhibitors often handle the problem for a few years. Then, sometimes, all hell breaks loose and the stomach can stick up inside of the esophagus, making the patients miserable and very sick as acid pours into the esophagus. Then, the patients need a serious surgical procedure to pull the stomach back down and cuff it off to keep it out of the esophagus.
Is acid reflex terminal?

If it’s a symptom of esophageal cancer .... and it can be. Chronic acid reflux can also cause Barrett’s Esophagus which is pre-cancerous. If you have acid reflux bad enough to inflame your soft tissues, it’s not a good thing. He got a CT scan to rule out tumors etc. With his heavy smoking past (& I’ll bet he still has a ciggy or something else fairly frequently these days), cancer is a worry. Risk factors for esophageal cancer:
The use of tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and chewing tobacco, is a major risk factor for esophageal cancer. The more a person uses tobacco and the longer it is used, the higher the cancer risk. Someone who smokes a pack of cigarettes a day or more has at least twice the chance of getting adenocarcinoma of the esophagus than a nonsmoker. The link to squamous cell esophageal cancer is even stronger.

“Then, sometimes, all hell breaks loose and the stomach can stick up inside of the esophagus,-—————”
Good lord—I wasn’t aware of this.
Sounds dreadful.
.
Spent a half hour there at Walter Reed. I wonder if any staffer told him that a large number of our wounded warriors spend MONTHS there—probably in too much of a hurry to get back to the Golf Channel TV watching for a visit.
When AP’s treating Obama like he’s a Republican you know dems are jumping ship.
Methinks it more likely he got an slight overdose of smack or maybe some bad weed. But we will never know for sure.
Or, perhaps it is the beginning of something like this?...
"So on a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat on his throne and gave an oration to them. And the people kept shouting, The voice of a god and not of a man! Then immediately an angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give glory to God. And he was eaten by worms and died." - Book of Acts - 12:21-23
I do have to say some of the parallels are stunning.
