The Missouri church attended by Michael Brown’s father and his family was one of a dozen or so buildings burned to the ground during Monday night’s protests in the wake of a grand jury’s decision not to indict Officer Darren Wilson. While the majority of the buildings destroyed on Monday were in downtown Ferguson, the Flood Christian Church is located some three miles away from the protests in a remote section of Country Club Hills.
Pastor Carlton Lee, who has been a vocal advocate for the Browns since their son was shot in August, has said he believes that white supremacists rather than protesters were to blame for the destruction.

It was lightning, ha! Just wait until they begin to get the black witnesses who testified for Officer Wilson. There was already one killing yesterday in Michael Brown’s neighborhood. Brown’s step dad is a convicted felon. He wouldn’t do anything wrong and the mother who seems to be out for money (anyone can see she is faking her tears). And, saying that her son was a good person who just happened to rob a store (like he hadn’t been in trouble before for robbery) What a disservice to a black person who will be truly treated unfairly.
“Inner city” arson is NOT uncommon. The insurance payoff is for “replacement (by new construction) cost” which is almost invariably MUCH higher than the market price for the building where it is located.
Just another mechanism for wealth distribution without the need to actually work for it.

Today is Spare the Air Day here in the San Francisco California Bay Area. Locally there is support for current fines on violators such as burning wood in your fireplace, who support for example the $250 dollar fine, and fines into the tens of thousands and even jail time for major violators who burn toxic materials.
I support in part these fines in some cases. Any community activist who torches a car today in Oakland CA on Spare the Air day needs to be found, fined $10,000 dollars and do some prison time. If a community organizer burns a building this is a gross violator considering the toxins released and should be fined the standard $250,000. These toxic polluters need to pay their fair share.
Ok, who was the wiseacre who, on social media, posted that Officer Wilson was receiving sanctuary in that church?
