Incoming Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell promised on Thursday morning that Congress will respond forcefully in 2015 to President Barack Obamas imminent executive action that will defer deportation for millions of undocumented immigrants.
In a blistering speech that quoted Obamas past statements about his limited unilateral powers on the subject of immigration, the GOP leader did not specify what action that his Republican Senate will take next year

How about we prevent funding on ANYTHING once the CR expires,,then only allow bills for vets to make it thru.
This statement is as believable as, “If you want to keep your doctor you can.” Since congress has given over so much power to the president they have no chance. Besides the abject fear that someone might call them a name, they will fume and bluster until the problem goes away and then fall back on, “Well we tried.” GOP has indeed become the GUTLESS OTHER PARTY!
Shouldn’t the action come in the House? They can refuse to fund ANYTHING the this EO requires. Shouldn’t Boehner already have informed the WH this would happen?
Mitch McConnell has no backbone and really truly no nuts!
and republican senators chose him as the leader unanimously
So instead of just whining and wagging his finger has McConnell promised to stomp his feet also while both his corporate masters get their lusted after cheap labor and Obama and the Democrats get their permanent power?
That’s the weird part.
And what will happen.
They have to keep sustaining the monster of big government which neither party intends to dismantle.
Budget wise this country is hobbling along with virtually the same kind of austerity that the European countries have.
Paul Ryan has already gone along with new taxes in the form of airline fees and cut military pensions.
Ryan now speaks of ‘tax reform’.
Does that mean some sort of new taxes or tax increases to keep government sustained??????
The Uniparty Rules.
I think more and more we need a new political party.
I think by forceful he will send another senator on fax news who will yell into the camera.
Is Mitch going to call Hans Bliks to write a strongly worded letter?
Obama’s not going to get away with this... he’s not a dictator.
So far he is getting away with it.If he did not know he would get away with it, he would not do it.
But the Republican Party leaders want to do the same thing with legislation anyway.
Romney said Obama should allow Congress to send him an amnesty bill instead of doing it on his own.
From McConnell, I fear it is little more than political bluster, then back to the status quo.
McConnell and the Republicans have 2 years to show backbone on the major issues. If they don’t, their majority status will be short-lived.
You gonna crush ‘em, Mitch?.....oh no, wait, that was the TEA party...
Jeff Sessions would make a superb majority leader leaving Cruz as a major lieutenant...
Smoke & mirrors. It’s no secret Harry’s Bitch Mitch has been pushing for amnesty all along.
Nauseating beyond belief.
Is that what you want?
What I want is an authentic conservative party in this country and not the Republicans who pretend to be conservative and pretend to oppose Obama on Obamacare and Amnesty.....
