The one thing cropping up faster than children for the Duggar family is controversy.
A petition on Change.org urging TLC to cancel the family's reality show, "19 Kids and Counting," is gaining momentum.
"End LGBTQ fear mongering by the Duggars," a letter posted on petition page reads. "The Duggars have been using their fame to promote discrimination, hate, and fear-mongering against gays and transgendered people. You need to take a stand on the side of justice and cancel their show."
The petition currently has over 12,500 signatures.
Last week, the couple posted a Facebook photo of them kissing and encouraged other married couples to share their own. The caption read, "God designed marriage to be a loving, dynamic relationship between a husband and wife for a lifetime. God loves marriage and it is supposed to be full of love, joy, fun and romance," it said. "We challenge all married couples to take a happily married picture and post it here."
John Becker, of LGBT blog "The Bilerico Project," posted a photo of him kissing his husband. He says his photo was later taken down and that he was banned from the Duggars' page, according to E! News.
The creator of the petition also cites reports that the family donated $10,000 to repeal equal housing rights for LGBTQ members. He also says Josh Duggar is a member of the Family Research Center, which the petition creator calls a "hate-filled, anti-gay organization."

1. How is it LGBTQ fear mongering, if a kissing picture of a homosexual couple is taken down from Facebook?
2. What about the liberal values of respect, tolerance, and the notion of live and let live? Are we saying we have to ban anyone from TV who does not explicitly endorse homosexual marriage??? What exactly are we saying??

One of the great things about Facebook is, I can control my own page. If I don’t like what someone tagged on my page, I can remove it. Fearmongering? No, it’s bigotry from the LGBT groups who fear and hate heterosexuals.
12,500 signatures huh. That should be about the total lesbo/queer/switch-hitter/mad doctor science experiment/I don’t know what the Q on the end is even for population of the entire USA.
We should just send them all to their own private island and see how long their population is able to maintain it’s self.

This family is all about love, as opposed to the perverts being all about hate.
I saw the family at a church in Asheville several years ago. I expected the kids to be complete geeks but I was pleasantly surprised. They all played musical instruments (very well), seemed to like each other, and were very respectful. Nice looking, too. Imagine children raised without the influence of TV and today’s culture. I would love to have children like them. However, I think it’s crazy to have so many children but seems to work for them.

My wife and I have had 6 children because that's about the top limit on how many we could afford, plus we are getting old.
