Great. Has the hospital settled with his family yet?

That didn’t take long. He must have been at death’s door when he arrived in the US.

In other words, the WMD exploded. Now we pray the fallout can be contained again.

Now the conspiracy theorists will be enraged. Two deaths on US soil, both of black African foreigners.

To far gone I guess. lets hope he didn’t infect any of the people who tried to help him.

From the article:

Salia, a Sierra Leone citizen who lives in Maryland, first showed Ebola symptoms on Nov. 6 but tested negative for the virus. He eventually tested positive on Monday. (emphasis added)

Paging Kaci Hickox.

His efforts to help the poor people of Sierra Leone were admirable, and he has paid for his virtue and courage with his life.

Rather than bringing these people here it seems like we would be more effective if a military hospital ship were parked offshore over there.

As I understand it, they are very good hospitals and could treat infected medical personnel quickly without flying them halfway around the planet.

I thought that too - when they were bringing him here....sure hope he makes it, otherwise he’s the second black from Africa to die, whereas the others have lived.

RIP. He tried to do some good. Why he was brought to Nebraska is another question.

I wonder if there are any genetic factors that determine resistance? In the US, Duncan and this fellow were West Africans. The Americans with Ebola treated in the US all survived. One nurse (Vinson) is an AA but she was mixed race.

So much for the great O’Bambi plan to treat Ebola patients here in the US. It simply takes too much time to get them here safely. Next he’ll want to recruit suicide pilots to bring them here without protection.

I think you are on to something here. More fuel for the Aggrieved (formerly Democrat) Party to throw on the simmering flames of racial hatred they are fanning.

Great point. That beotch has now faded back into obscurity. She had dreams of a book deal, a Lifetime movie and a guest shot on Jon Stewart.

She didn't realize that even most liberals would think she was a giant jackass, with a likeability factor near zero.

“His efforts to help the poor people of Sierra Leone were admirable, and he has paid for his virtue and courage with his life.”

Beautifully stated. It reminds me of this:

No man is an island,
Entire of itself,
Every man is a piece of the continent,
A part of the main.
If a clod be washed away by the sea,
Europe is the less.
As well as if a promontory were.
As well as if a manor of thy friend’s
Or of thine own were:
Any man’s death diminishes me,
Because I am involved in mankind,
And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls;
It tolls for thee. — John Donne
