The Big O spent it on nicorette, chewed gum in public, dressed up like an effete Chinese Commie Star Trek Party Member and billed it all to the American public.

I really hate it when he tries to identify with his host country. Bowing to Saudi kings, touching the Queen (including his wife doing the same). Of course, this is just a few of examples of his IGNORANCE and lack of protocol.

>> I see healthy, well-dressed people buying huge amounts of food on my dime.

They’re buying huge amounts of food on your “white privilege.”

Local news in Jax ran a story series yesterday about the amount of fraud in the food stamp program. Individuals are selling their EBT cards for 50 cents on the dollar. One guy admitted making 30K a month by doing the purchases and laundering the cards through his business paying, maybe, the tax on the income. I say maybe because he said IRS has had no problems with him. His scam was caught when he got picked up in a drug deal. News said there is one investigator for fraud stamp abuse in all of Jacksonville and they extrapolated the fraud in the program at a number in the multi millions.

The bar got lowered - and so did the proof requirements of need to do so.

I’ve seen seniors (single) buying cat food with EBT/SNAP cards. I’ve seen plenty of able bodied women, and men, using them buy all sorts of junk food. And, they always have some cash for the booze and cigarettes. It’s nice that we taxpayers can supplement their food bills so they can save their cash for the important stuff.

Also, from what I can see looking through them, Shannon County South Dakota wins with 60% on food stamps.

“Shannon County South Dakota wins with 60% on food stamps”.......

Indian reservation. Note there are numerous reservations across the country with similar high percentages. Guess the casinos are not working as we all thought.

They’ve made it quite a lucrative business out here in eastern KY. Coal mine goes bust, get on disability & food stamps. Sell the stamps for $.50 on the dollar and make meth on the side! Raise the next generation of bastard children to do the same! Lather, rinse, repeat.

By design. Coal mine is DRIVEN out of business by the Obama's EPA, Obama Bureaucrats step in and make it easy to apply for it, and then they're shackled to the Democrat Plantation forever. It is the Obama Way.

Yes indeed. And don’t forget about the utility and mortgage assistance programs as well.

I had done a massive hiring campaign in that area for displaced miners. Only 1% of them were willing to relocate out of that area (roughly only 1.5 hours west) to get a new job.

Government, with its myriad of assistance and entitlement programs - all virtually tax free - are designed to be enough that the average person with a high school education could not find a job with more take home pay as the government’s new voters get. It doesn’t make financial sense to take a job where taxes are collected, etc. that brings home much less than sitting on your ass and doing nothing.

Big Food (Safeway, Kroger, Walmart, Kraft, Hormel, Heinz, etc. etc.) are just as culpable as Liberals.

They love this program because it answers the age-old question “How do I sell my product to people who don’t have any money?”
