Just a few minutes ago, I think it was NBC which said the Republicans warned Obama not to try and fix immigration on his own.
I love the way they put it. Obama is doing his best to fix it but the mean old Republicans may not let him.

Hispanics make up 10% of eligible voters and 8.5% of votes cast in 2012.
Non-hispanic Whites made up 72% of eligible voters and 74% of votes cast in 2012.
Tell me again why the Citizens of the USA and member of the Republican Party MUST pander to Hispanics and encourage the violation of law and the destruction of the rule of law in order to capture the Hispanic vote?
Hell, in Texas 44% voted for the Republican Governor. Of course he leans toward Amnesty, but at least 25% of the Hispanic Vote is anti-Illegal.
Folks need to start calling these "Republicans" LIARS. They are not seeking the favor of the Hispanic Voters.
They are seeking the favor of the US Chamber of Commerce.

Abbott got 50% of male Hispanic vote. A lot of Hispanics came here legally and/or have been here for generations and don’t want amnesty. The rest of them probably would vote Dem no matter what because of the freebies promised.
