I am requesting prayers from my fellow freepers. Last month I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
I had a PET Scan yesterday and will get the results tomorrow.
I ask that you say a little prayer for me that it is operable.

My Brother in Christ, by his authority we are able to heal others and ourselves by using his abilities to command our body to heal. Remember that if you have Faith the size of a mustard seed you can move mountains. Claim his authority and command your body to return to normal function and be healed, do so in complete and utter faith and it shall be done

The Creator has entered into, suffered, endured faithfully, and experienced bodily every affliction we are subject to as a result of our poor condition, a condition so poor we are afraid to look both God and neighbor in the eye and by all accounts should render us eternally damned and dead.
This He has done through His crucified and risen Son, Christ Jesus. He knows our frame, that we are weak. He emptied Himself for you, and for me, and for all who are otherwise without hope.
Both He and I pray that you will place no final confidence in yourself, medicine, politicians, friends, neighbors, or anything this world cares to offer in the way of comfort, but know and believe that as Christ is crucified and risen for you, He also lives to bring you to Himself in love, as fathers and mothers bring all the best they can to their children and embrace them even when they fall.
God bless you and keep you always, no matter how things may appear, and no matter how feelings might incline toward either despair or pride. The Creator knows what He is doing, and He does all things well out of love for His creation. It’s been thus from the beginning, is so now, and will be forever.
There is much more we could discuss regarding these things if you would like to speak with me separately/privately at another time, but for now let us together be still and know that the Creator, who does not sleep, invites us to rest in Him.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with a near hopeless cancer about a year ago. He fought a brave fight that I am not so sure I would have. (But, you never know until you are faced with that reality.) Now, his prognosis is eight to 15 more years of life here on Earth. Miracles happen. Stay close to God my FRiend.
