GREAT news and BAD portents

I thoroughly enjoyed Election Night 2014. It was the first time I have smiled, albeit wanly, in four long years.
I savored every second of it. Watching Nunn and Carter fall in my home state of Georgia, was particularly delightful. I had bad feelings about both those races. I followed the entire night as the ratio of Perdue to Nunn voters -- hovering around 55% to 43% -- refused to budge, no matter how liberal the county that released its results.
Then to watch the gratifying or surprising wins:
- Cotton beat Pryor in Arkansas despite Clinton's best efforts. This gives us some hope that the bloom is off the Clinton rose.
- Cory Gardner bested Mark Udall in a surprise upset in Colorado. The Democrats thought they owned Colorado for the next generation.
- Thom Tillis seized North Carolina from an Obama loyalist Hagan in one of the most surprising races of the night.
- It was a joy to watch Scott Walker cruise easily to victory.
- And to see the Ninth Plain of Hell, Maryland, elect a REPUBLICAN governor was nothing short of astounding.
It was a remarkable and satisfying night. As one commentator put it, "It was as if a case of mass sanity broke out all over America."
So, we enjoy this win. We relish in this rare victory.
But please, dear friend, make no mistake: Evil things, this way come.
Barack Obama is very out of control after this election. He is seriously mentally ill with a severe Malignant Narcissist disorder, and these sort of people lash out with deadly force when they are cornered or denied their way.
The things we KNOW he intends are scary enough.
- Obama intends to permanently change the demographics of America with an illegal alien Executive Order amnesty. Leaving aside the fact that there is no legal vehicle for him to do this, he's going to do it anyways. This one act would make it impossible for another night like November 4, 2014 to ever occur in our lifetimes. You would never see another Republican President or majority House or Senate ever again.
- Obama will unleash the EPA in the effort to crush all businesses in America. There will not be a single regulation that will be issued that will do anything but destroy the remains of this tattered economy.
- Obama will shove Obamacare's worst provisions down our throats now. There is no reason for him to hold back. Huge increases in cost and severe cuts in service is in the future for all of us, with regards to our health care.
This is what we *know* of, at present. Any one of these would be horrific, but there are three malevolent responses on the horizon.
Obama hated America to begin with. Now he despises us and would like us to feel great pain. He is a malevolent and thoroughly evil man, and if his public face is as sinister as the three issues I brought up, imagine the things he plans that are below the horizon.
Yes, we won, and it was gratifying..... but we have very severe, very hard times ahead. Obama wants payback, and he will have it.

Biden is nutty, but not Muslim and has fewer predispositions towards treason.
Excellent two points that I had not considered until now.

I will celebrate this awesome event this evening, with a couple beers and delish beef ribs, at my favorite BBQ joint.
Ahhh!
Will have my best shit eating grin on, while I thank God for his divine wisdom and providence.
And tasty hoof flesh, which is man fuel.

Well reasoned and well stated. I agree. The IRS and EPA have become the means of implementing American fascism and oppressive government.

For a guy who put so much early energy into appearing likeable, it’s amazing that he has absolutely no problem with us knowing that he actually hates America’s guts.
Here’s what scares me:
When u have a powerful person who has had maaany things handed to them and they have never before suffered a major failure....
THE REACTION IS USUALLY VERY VIOLENT.

In some ways, Laz, the battle has just begun for the restoration of America.
Bring it.
Excellent article.

I believe I acknowledged and relished in our wins, and succinctly framed the problems coming, in this article.
I feel you have identified some solutions, in yours. Bravo to you!

We here in Pennsylvania got our asses handed to us with the election of Tom Wolf as Governor ... the very enemy of freedom and America
Elsewhere I rejoice, albeit, with the cautions you articulated

The Rs were sober. They werent wild. They didnt promise anything. They still havent. What Id like to see them do: 1. Put a bill on the Presidents desk every week. The more absurdly reasonable and good for middle class folks, the better. 2. Do not bring up immigration reform - at all. Dont do it.While I do believe this restrained approach has merit, we must also act when Obama goes full-on Romanesque Nero.

I was wondering about the Pennsylvania exception. Are you guys that defrauded, or is the GOTV so much better for the Dems there?

WHEW !
y'got ME
Wolf is SUCH a commie and crook, but Corbett didn't do much campaigning and certainly never answered (effectively) the charges against him.
He DID increase gasoline tax by 27 cents and it's being touted that THAT is what did him in, but I disagree.
I think it is his hesitancy about common core that allowed the "education" card be played.
Either way ... it MAY be OK when PA wakes up and finds itself alone in a Republican wave of success.

I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on this article.
I think I may have touched exactly the right bittersweet tone.
