You’re quite right. I think the Republican Party leadership is a bunch of unprincipled, gutless wonders. They’re very enthusiastic about attacking conservatives, and then get on their knees in front of the marxist demonicrat party.
Blanket statements like you made DO tend to come back atcha and bite you in the butt.
However, I'm sure that THIS offends you as well. YOU brought up the "Some people just live..." line, so it must have hit home with you from a past FReeper.
One of my oldest friends lives there in Texas in Robertson County and she gives me an earful of the problems in Texas, but you don't see me with the blanket "STUPID" comment about Texas.
In fact, I'm spending Christmas in the great state of Texas. I must remember to bring my warm clothes. It DOES get a bit chilly out there in central Texas! Not a lot of folks live out there but they love it, as I love my home town, home state.
Does the word "apology" exist in your vocabulary? :o)
Keep in mind that Kelly Ayotte won in NH as a conservative, then traitored us before she even had time to unpack in DC. I suspect Scott Brown would've had a much better chance if he had any principled conservative vision at all. He seems to be one who compromises on everything, and as a result ends up believing in nothing.
I wonder how many will.
We’re moving in the right direction.
The timely switches of West Virginia, Tennessee, and Arkansas in 2000 saved us from Al Gore. West Virginia once voted against Ronald Reagan. They finally saw liberalism for what it was and massively turned against it.
Interesting how the Tea Party brand is attacked by Democrats even though the GOP-E has done everything in its power to make sure it controls NOTHING.
Tea Party conservatism has never been truly tried in this country. Of the major political philosophies, it is the one freest from criticism.
Ok, but the problem is, that although yours may be a single instance...the problem is the aggregate throughout FR. Many others take the shots and it's cumulative...it tends to get a bit demoralizing, tiring and frustrating.
And after last night's results, even with some small victories, nothing changed at the state level...so some folks are not going to be in the best of moods.
I’m a Minnesotan. Evidently, we ARE all stupid.
It would not have mattered a quince if Brown had won. They are like two peas in a pod...........
Maybe LAKE WOBEGONE DAYS wasn’t fiction after all............
It better serve as a soul searching by the RINO gop elite.
They screwed up with greed under GWB and got ousted, if they don’t do what we want as conservatives they will get ousted in 2016 in the House. My own US Rep is not as conservative as I’d like. But not as bad as my US senator lamar RINO alexander 62% demoRAT voting record. He had no opponent with creds. Just as our RINO gov faced no real opposition.
What won where our 4 state Constitutional Amendments.
#1 We can now regulate PP clinics
#2 was a LOSS, no ads were run in opposition to LIBERAL JUDGES.
#3 payroll and stronger NO state income taxes won.
#4 lottery for Veterans .orgs for funding. This one in my opinion is a camel’s nose under the tent if the congress changes as they pick the .orgs and we could end up funding PP as a .org or the dem party as a .org with legislatures naming the .orgs. They were NOT listed on the ballot.
Lol. YOU aren't since you are HERE.

The above is FIFTY reasons why Minnesota is the BEST STATE in the union. :o) Enjoy.
I LOVED Colonel Flagg in M.A.S.H. when he was there, which really didn't happen since he often said: "I'm not here."
Lol! Makes me chuckle whenever I think of him.
And Manchin is a Democrat leftover. And he is probably one of the few remaining conservative Democrats. But now Dim policies are damaging the blue collar workers and especially in coal mining states.
Manchin should take a good look at the senate race to replace Jay Rockefellar:
Capito (R) 62.0%
Tennant (D) 34.5%
I hope Republicans are trying to recruit him. Very few Dim senators now left in states that go red in presidential races. I think Montana still have one Dim senator.
Perhaps Democrats will be inspired to support Republican legislation due to this bloody Tuesday.
Exactly. Manchin should do a Richard Shelby and switch parties.
great post!
It is a great movie. My Dad told me, “I used to fight like a Boy Scout and I lost every fight. Then, I started getting the first punch in and I started winning.”
I grew up with the children of cowboys and lumberjacks and miners and mill workers. There were a lot of fights. You don’t fight by the rules with someone who is desperate, and the Democrats are desperate. You fight to win. Fighting to see who is best at it or for entertainment doesn’t cut it with the Democrats. They don’t stop when you’re on the ground. For them, that’s when the fun begins as they try to kick in your teeth and ribs.
