Obama is implementing his one world/no borders ideology. His acolytes at CDC are more concerned with politically correct Obama approved protocols rather than policies that would protect the health and well being of the American people. There is no vaccine, no definitive treatment, no commercially available reliable diagnostic test ,and infected people can remain asymptomatic for up to three weeks. There is no medical rational to allow travelers to enter the United States. Screening is ineffective and quarantines are not being enforced.

Obama said doctors and nurses from the United States who have volunteered to fight Ebola in West Africa are American heroes who must be treated with dignity and respect.

So maybe they should continue to behave like American heroes upon their return and display the common sense to accept the 21 day quarantine after being exposed to African patients suffering from a contagious disease with a 70% mortality rate.

A real hero would insist upon that basic precaution to ensure they did not spread a deadly disease to innocent Americans, even if Obama is too stupid or too reckless and politically driven to require it.

Even if you can't seal off the borders, limiting the damage is better than throwing the doors wide open. One person with Ebola coming to the country is better than a thousand. This is the same argument he uses with the border: we can't seal it completely so any border control is impossible.

I've heard it said that you shouldn't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. This is a case of saying the perfect is impossible so the good shouldn't be done either.

Obama's argument, taken to its natural conclusion is like saying that since everyone is mortal and will die eventually, medical care is completely worthless.
