Obama choreographed hug with Ebola victim

President Obama is usually “not interested in photo ops,” but apparently he made an exception for Friday’s good news that Nina Pham, the first Dallas nurse who contracted Ebola, is now virus-free.

Mr. Obama and Ms. Pham shared an embrace in the Oval Office, certainly a reassuring image for Ebola-panicked Americans.

But according to still photographers on the scene, his hug with Ms. Pham was staged.

Wasn’t it a couple of weeks? And she was caught well before the hemorrhagic phase and received antibodies from Brantly. Entirely reasonable that it was stopped before it progressed too far.

Brantly entered the hemorrhagic phase and it took a bit more time before he recovered.

I have been reading the “Hot Zone” book and they can test to a specific strain of the virus, so no, it wouldn’t be a related virus. They can determine if it is Ebola Zaire/Ebola Sudan/Marburg.

EEK! I thought the exact opposite was true.
I have heard that there are at least five basic types of Ebola. So maybe Miss Nina got a whiff of the weakest brand.
If she ever had this at all. CDC won’t be doing that kind of second guessing. Their reputation is already in tatters, like President O.
