In August, Duncan's visa was approved. He and Troh had rekindled their relationship, and she helped pay for his plane ticket.
He packed a backpack and a suitcase, and told neighbors he was going to America and would not be back for two years. When he returned, he said, he planned to build a house for his family.

Not dying of ebola is raysis.
No, visas were not expedited. The link you provided related to certain measures the Obama administration took with regard to people from affected countries who were already present in the U.S. - essentially, making it easier for them to stay here if they are already here, rather than forcing them to return to the hot zone. Nothing about expediting entry visas, or any other measures concerning people who were not already here.

Wow! Good catch! The October Surprise.
Troh isn’t the dead guy’s niece; she was his shack-up.
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
And she has been issued her race card by the not so reverend jesse hijackson, good for a lifetime of free rides on Uncle Sam’s “Gravy Train Express” paid for by the racist White taxpayers with the potential of a multimillion dollar “prize” in the lawsuit lottery.
I don’t know about that. We have not seen Troh, and I wonder if she is in bad shape. I sure hope that Je$$e has been hanging out with her.
The people that he has been in contact with, from what I have seen, are other relatives of Duncan. The nephew whose last name is Weekus — I think — has jumped right on the Race Card Express. Even has an op-ed somewhere, which Je$$e’s people most likely penned for him.
Correction to my #28. The Gravy Train nephew’s name is Josephus Weeks, and here is a link to the FR thread about his op-ed:
