Pat Roberts: Jarrett Involved with IRS Scandal (estab Repub actually gets something right)

Republican Kansas Sen. Pat Roberts said Friday that he thinks the IRS targeting scandal was driven by Valerie Jarrett’s office in the White House, according to information that he saw that Democrats tried to “whitewash.”

Roberts told talk radio host Hugh Hewitt that he participated in a Senate Finance Committee investigation into the IRS scandal but “the effort was made by the majority, by the Democrats in the Congress, to simply end that investigation,” which he called a “whitewash.”

“I’m convinced that even Valerie Jarrett was involved,” Roberts said.

Notice when Hewitt asks him a direct question: "if the Republicans get the majority, will the investigation get into the IRS and Benghazi in a way that has been prohibited from doing by Harry Reid?" Roberts avoids a direct answer "yes." . . he did not answer the question. But the key "kabuki" moment in the Hewitt interview takes place when Roberts says: "if you follow the communication, IF WE CAN GET IT, then I'm convinced it goes into the White House, even to Valerie Jarrett.

Pat Roberts "gets something right" on a regular basis and is one of the most reliable conservatives we have in the U.S. Senate. Most of us in the rest of the country would kill for a GOP Senator as conservative as Roberts.

Roberts is NOT a RINO. Again, check his voting record since he became a Senator. If he's a "RINO", then so is Ted Cruz, since they vote almost identically.

I don’t agree .. I’ve seen Ted Cruz get involved with Rubio - and setting Rubio straight about his cabal with Schumer. What happened?: Rubio stopped allowing the dems to use him in their amnesty schemes. No wonder the left still hates Ted Cruz.

Ted Cruz doesn’t play games. His help must have had a caveat regarding his support for Roberts. The more repubs in the Senate that Cruz can influence will only help America to get back on track.
