Pat Roberts "gets something right" on a regular basis and is one of the most reliable conservatives we have in the U.S. Senate. Most of us in the rest of the country would kill for a GOP Senator as conservative as Roberts.

Roberts is NOT a RINO. Again, check his voting record since he became a Senator. If he's a "RINO", then so is Ted Cruz, since they vote almost identically.

So what? He's ALWAYS done the right thing when he's in a tough re-election fight or not. The lunatics smearing Mike Enzi used the same "he's only voting conservative cuz he has a tough re-election fight against Liz Cheney" BS, and now that she's long gone and he has no chance of losing in November, he's STILL voting reliably conservative. Yet the Liz Cheney cheerleaders have never admitted they were wrong.

If you really feel that way, stop drinking the Milton Wolf "Roberts is a RINO" kool-aid. Damning with faint praise does more harm than good. You sneering "gosh, scumbag liberal RINO establishment hack Roberts did something right for once" is NOT helping his re-election campaign, and your propaganda painting him as a "RINO" is completely false as well.
I don’t know who you were targeting with that info about Roberts - as for me, I think he’s only a little RINO-ish in that he no longer lives in Kansas ever - he’s been in DC a long time - and the estabs support him.
I also might refer to him as a RINO simply because I’m trying to make a bigger point to some around here, which is that we need some of them to beat Democrats - so I’ll concede the RINO point simply to make the bigger argument.
But I’ve said on FR many times in the last month, Roberts is not the problem. He may not be the solution, but he’s not that bad. And Milton Wolfe ran a horrible campaign too. And that is not Robert’s fault. Time to just do the right thing here.
