The world suddenly seemed a lot smaller when news broke Tuesday that the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the U.S. is being isolated and treated at a Dallas hospital. While the outbreak in West Africa has sickened more than 6,000 people and killed 3,083, it was only a matter of time before the virus hit closer to home, experts said. Dr. Edward Goodman, hospital epidemiologist at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, said he was not surprised that the Ebola virus came to his doorstep, given the number of cases in Africa.
There is plenty of opportunity for people to fly over and come to any part of the United States, he told reporters Tuesday. Other experts agree that it was inevitable for the Ebola virus to spread beyond Africa. Given the unprecedented scale of the virus outbreak in West Africa, at least a handful of imported cases were expected to arrive in other countries.
But many predicted that the Ebola virus would reach another country before the U.S. Using mathematical models to predict how infectious diseases spread, experts at Northeastern University ranked the top 15 countries where Ebola could emerge next

Seema, you democrat hack ,get your facts straight, before you make a fool of yourself.
And she calls herself a Doctor.
Lying SOBs.
why America...and not Canada, England, Germany, etc....?
Inevitable? That’s not what the Fuhrer said.
I would be surprised if anyone thought that we wouldn’t see someone get in with Ebola, that is what some of us were saying about the two missionaries brought to Emory, did people really think the Ebola problem for America was going to come out of one of our 4 super isolation clinics, of course not, it was going to be “in the wilds” so to speak.
the federal govt's ONLY job is to protect we citizens and this govt has done everything to do just the oppisite....
Letters from affected zones are arriving daily .....
And our gov....this admin....wouldnt even take visas away from isis fighters....
oh well
Speculation on the potr blog that this was not even patient zero. Might have been infected in flight.
since it was wanted here, no kidding.
We want every Negro to work for one common object, that of building a nation of his own on the great continent of Africa. That all Negroes all over the world are working for the establishment of a government in Africa, means that it will be realized in another few years. We want the moral and financial support of every Negro to make this dream a possibility. Our race, this organization, has established itself in Nigeria, West Africa, and it endeavors to do all possible to develop that Negro country to become a great industrial and commercial commonwealth. Pioneers have been sent by this organization to Nigeria, and they are now laying the foundations upon which the four hundred million Negroes of the world will build. If you believe that the Negro has a soul, if you believe that the Negro is a man, if you believe the Negro was endowed with the senses commonly given to other men by the Creator, then you must acknowledge that what other men have done, Negroes can do. We want to build up cities, nations, governments, industries of our own in Africa, so that we will be able to have a chance to rise from the lowest to the highest position in the African Commonwealth.
Who you gonna believe? A former community organizer or an epidemiologist at the hospital where the case was diagnosed?
Comrades, there has been a lot thoughtcrime going about. No reason to worry, just confess and be vaporized.
Yeah especially when you are doing absolutely nothing to restrict travel from West Africa Ebola hotzones.
The key for me is that they shouldn’t be taking unnecessary risks. If we are going to take risks make sure they are away from huge population centers. Make sure that anyone traveling from West Africa understands that they are going to be quarantined till they pass a blood test.

...it’s inevitable when you have liberal Democrats in office.
The 4 super clinics are all to serve super research centers that contain these deadly diseases and researchers who could become infected, so they are located close to the lab itself, the one in Emory is almost next door to CDC research labs.
That really isn’t likely given that Ebola runs its course in 14-21 days. This means the guy was well into the infection by the time he boarded the plane for his 12+ hour flight and even if not seriously symptomatic before boarding he was before or shortly thereafter arrival.
I do believe the CDC is lying and purposely omitting key facts. Notice they did not say he was confirmed not symptomatic when he arrived in Dallas. They haven’t provided a full itinerary or name.
We do know that the man was seriously symptomatic enough to go to the ER 4 days after arriving which probably means he self medicated for at least a couple days before. He was treated and then sent home for 2 days and was rushed back to the hospital where he is now in the final stages of the infection. I’ll be very surprised if he hasn’t infected others outside of his family.
Excellent Bible verse!
