President Obama firmly believes the United States is better off now than when he took office, even though the American people cannot feel it.
During an interview with 60 Minutes Steve Kroft, Obama said, the country is definitely better off than when I came into office.
When I came into office, our economy was in crisis, Obama said.
The president then cited lower unemployment, private sector job growth, and deficit cuts as evidence of his administrations success. I can put my record against any leader around the world in terms of digging ourselves out of a terrible, almost unprecedented financial crisis, Obama said.
When asked if the president thought the American people could feel that economic success, Obama said, They dont feel it.
The reason they dont feel it is because incomes and wages are not going up, he said. Obama suggested raising the minimum wage, rebuilding infrastructure, and investing in American business to continue strengthening the economy.

Just jumble around his words: the country would be better off if he resigned.

“The country” is “better off” because high income earners no longer are high income earners,
and “the country” is “more fair” now.
I’m betting that’s the underlying sentiment.

Imagine if he resigned and Joe took over -
the media would be stumbling all over themselves saying how brilliant Joe was.

His arrogance truly knows no boundary.
President Obama will insist he is correct and 300,000,000 are wrng.
He is like a motorist driving the wrong way down a highway and calling police to report an endless stream of lawbreakers.

...and deficit cuts as evidence of his administrations success Yea, I could take out second and third mortgages on the house, take cash advances on all my credit cards, work with loan sharks, etc. to reduce my monthly deficit too. That's not a big accomplishment.
To: SeekAndFind
Actually the economy was not in crises when Obama took office. The crises was averted by (for better or for worse) the bank bailouts executed by Paulson and Bush. That’s why the recession ended of its own volition six months into his term.
