According to a newly revealed Department of Defense policy, undocumented immigrants with “high-demand skills” and “mostly rare foreign language expertise or specialized health care training” will now be allowed to serve in the military, USA today reported.
The program is called Military Accessions in the National Interest (MAVNI). Immigrants lacking proper documentation will be allowed in if they came to America with their parents before the age of 16 and are approved under President Obama’s 2012 DACA, or Deferred Action for Child Arrivals, policy.
Interesting announcement from our government, considering that the Army had just announced back in May that 30,000 soldiers would need to be removed from active duty rolls over the next year and a half.
In fact, back in July the Pentagon began doling out pink slips to active duty soldiers while they were overseas fighting in Afghanistan, a move retired Major Gen. Robert Scales told Fox News was “dangerous” and “bad for morale.”
On top of that, the U.S. military now rejects some 80% of all those who apply in the first place.
Robert Maginnis, a senior fellow for national security at the Family Research Council, told OneNewsNow that, “given the downsizing of the military, we have every reason to turn down people who aren’t fully qualified.” The outlet went on to report that the U.S. Army’s 2014 active duty recruiting goal is the smallest it has been in ten years.

Great! (sarc) People with NO loyalty to America, not citizens, are going to serve alongside patriotic Americans in war zones.... where our soldiers life may depend on someone who wasn’t loyal to their own country, and did not observe our laws (illegals) in order to get here...yeah, that makes sense.
This will not work in the US military without a 'fundamental transformation.' Certainly, there will be a small percentage of these recruits who truly value and desire American citizenship and are willing to serve to earn it. I suspect that will not be the case with the majority.

OK, so we have foreign DOCTORS swimming across the Rio Grande and getting false IDs? HA! Too clever by half. He’ll have to scrounge up or even orchestrate illegal immigrant doctors, nurses, etc.

My daughter, who has a bachelors degree, has been trying to enlist in the Air Force. The recruiters have not contacted her despite her repeated attempts over the past month and a half. This news chaps my hiney.
There have been non-citizens fighting with us because they are shown taking their oath of citizenship. Now if an illegal immigrant of mideastern heritage enlists, that should be a sign right there, but hey, who’s watching?

Well, the Republicans already have the House, which is where impeachment happens. I understand the point that removal from office would need a Republican senate.
But if the Republicans had any gonads, they would start House impeachment proceedings for tyranny immediately, with this Obama edict as exhibit A and the smoking gun, and dare the Democrats — in the face of upcoming November elections — to oppose them.
That would be an extremely effective October Surprise -- from the Republicans for a change.
Everyone -- including LIVs -- is scared of Islamic terrorism these days, and I think that vast majority of Americans would support impeachment if they know that Obama had forbidden the FBI from scrutinizing Muslims, and also in light of the exposure to all sorts of dreaded previously unknown-unknown-in-America crossing our open border and threatening everybody's children.
America won’t pay attention to Fox News, but impeachment based on these issues would definitely grab national attention, and I think the political pressure to get Obama out of office would become overwhelming -- if only the Republicans would do the right thing.
The fact that they don't is why I won't be voting for any more RINOs, EVER.
I seem to remember one other great nation using non-citizens for their army. Oh yeah now I remember it was the Roman Empire. How did that work out for them? Will the Marine motto change from Semper-Fidelis now become Semper-Da mihi. (From always faithful to always give me)
So how do they swear to uphold and defend the Constitution when they have broken it?
We are totally screwed.
We need a real leader to stand up and lead us. And I don’t just mean make speeches. I just hope it’s not too late.

Invited terrorist to cross the border, giving them the royal treatment.
Now fill the military with illegals that have no respect for Americans.
Next a big terrorist attack.
Marshall law. And the illegals will have no problem shooting Americans.

Perspective: As bad as it is now, just wait. It will get much worse.
I do not think for a nanosecond we are in anything but trouble here. But when I look out the window I still see helicopter parents bringing little snowflakes to free pizza parties and participation trophy award ceremonies.
When Snowflake has no power for his Xbox after an EMP blast, that’s when we can say things are genuinely ‘bad’. We are very much still in the ‘1st world problems’ phase. But we are getting closer to genuinely bad by the hour.
