This whole NFL shtick is just another red herring to distract attention from the dangers of the on-going clown show in the White House.
Most of the fans of the NFL are white, middle class. Why does NFL management appeal to 13% of the population?
If the NFL got rid of it's thugs, went 90% white...and even if the quality of play declined...I would still watch it. In fact, I believe that the overall popularity of the NFL would increase.
It seems that the popularity of Pro Golf hasn't suffered without Tiger Woods.

But is she referring to the thug culture that refers to women as bitches and hos?
I don't think the NFL had much to say about it. What has happened over time is that big-time sports now attract two basic types of participants: (1) wealthy kids whose families can afford to pay for personal training, coaching, etc.; and (2) athletically gifted lower-class kids who are willing to play sports that are likely to expose them to a lot of physical problems down the road.
America's middle class may be a huge part of the NFL's fan base, but their kids aren't playing it as much as they once did.
Couple things. Finally watched the video.
He did not drag her out by the hair, as I’ve seen reported. He got his hands under her arms and moved her that way. He did kind of drop her on her face at one point, though.
The video from inside the elevator is low-res. But she quite obviously attacks him, he backs up and when she comes forward again, he hits her.
It did not look like “a punch” to me. She didn’t fly back, she flew to her left, as if she had been slapped, or (possibly) hit with a roundhouse punch rather than a straight one.
I just couldn’t tell, but it also looked to me as if she might have hit her head on the steel rail of the elevator while going down.
In any case, there was no blood on the floor or visible on her clothes, and I would certainly expect some from “a punch” by a man of that size.
Hockey players can vent an awful lot on the ice. It’s the only sport aside from boxing where the participants can have a brawl in the middle of the game and won’t get thrown out of the game and suspended.
Wow.
That there NFL buncha guys is Reeeeeeeeeeealllllllllly important, now; isn’t it?
I mean—nothing else is going on, is there? A real yawner all around.
Good grief she is still around? What about all the violence and murders in Chicago Maureen?
The NFL needs to hire a black commissioner to solve the problems.
I nominate Ray Lewis.

Show me ANY white guy that can catch a football while sprinting at 25 miles an hour! ;)
Why would you push for social engineering in the NFL? In spite of its’ flaws at least most pro sports are still a meritocracy. That should never change. Reality doesn’t support your statement about golf either. Check the ratings.
The sad part is Douglas cheated on both women repeatedly.
