Linda indignant, throwing a hissy fit; saying nobody has been listening to her and Senator McPain for the last three years.

Heh.

I told her about your fandom and she was so grateful.

Lord I hope Kevin Wade is elected but don’t forget he ran several times before.

He’s a great candidate but Delaware is just too blue.

However.....Fay is my buddy....I love her dearly. We both write on the Delaware site, two very different methods of writing but we respect each other.

I once took Kevin Wade around my church and introduced him to everybody, even my curmudgeon priest.

If he wins, I’m happy. Chris Coons is a boobaloob.

I’m not making any bets.

Much has been made of the difference between ISIS and ISIL.

At some point Israel was brought into the fray by being declared part of the Levant.

Personally, I prefer an Israelless ISIL simply because it seems geographically and historically correct. Most importantly ISIL drops the connotation to Syria and Iraq. The new nation state being formed is neither Syria nor Iraq but land along the rivers that is historically neither. It is the fertile crescent of old.

In theory long ago both Israel and Lebanon were considered part of the whole but perhaps not now. I don’t see either being absorbed into the new state.

What I do see is that neither Syria nor Iraq will return to the status quo ante. The Sunni and Kurdish lands are severed from the former countries of which they were forcefully made a part decades ago. Further, I do not foresee a long term situation where the radical wackos rule the newly emerging state.

So Friday night through Saturday afternoon I spent with Kaitlyn and my formerly barbed-wired heart was lifted. Indeed it soared.

Because I have not seen that child for any length of time since early June as her hospital-addicted mother spent 42 of the last 60 days in a loony bin....all fake like Muncheussen syndrome has it.

I discovered that Kaitlyn loved me as much as I loved her. For her whole life, even the 9 years when they lived in Baltimore, I kept her once a month. I planned our activites to include going to musicals, an outdoor Shakespeare play, the Delaware state fair....on and on.

I have never been anything but a great grandmother to her and no mind that her mother-my sympathetic-attention addicted daughter-yells at me for such as not breast-feeding her or going back to work too soon after her birth...Kaitlyn has no reason but to love me with all her heart.

And she does and she missed me.

I was emotionally a wreck, not from sadness. But from happiness....I have not been happy for two months. I’ve been lonely and miserable and taking care of two lonely dogs for those 42 days.

Now she sends me Facebook private message how miserable she is (she is back across the street, WITH abusive husband, so much for Ray Rice-I just do not know what it is about).

But I REFUSE to be unhappy any more.

It’s all up to Melissa, a 37 year old woman addicted to hospitals....they call it, you should smile, “hospital hopper syndrome”...so this is not unknown.

She’s denying it all over the place, of course, but I think the Delaware child people are on to her. After all, it’s what they do and there is a syndrome called Mancheussen syndrome by proxy and that has those people worried.

With THIS syndrome mothers do awful things to their children for their addictive need for sympathy and attention. I do NOT think this is the case with my daughter but you can believe she’s got all kinds of people on to her.

Anyway, I spent many hours hugging and loving Kaitlyn and she loved me back. SHE is the center of my universe. Oh I love daughter dearly but she has to decide her life route. I refuse to be part of that misery for another second.

So for now, I am happy. I have doubts and fears because no, I don’t believe soninlaw is going to turn into a model citizen.

But I wish them the best.

Meanwhile Kaitlyn is playing a trombone (it’s blue plastic?) and is part of her school’s EXCEL program which is no, not a spreadsheet, but some thing for smarter students. She loves her school and she is a great kid.

She has my heart wrapped in barbed-wire.

Fish, last week I told you how the Mayor and City Council was going to spend $160,000 on Light Rail before our measure passes this Tuesday. We stopped the spending and our measure should pass handily on Tuesday. We started an email campaign and filled the hall and spoke about them taking our vote away.

I will let you know what the vote will be, but our tactics have taken the liberal establishment to the point of no opposition on this campaign. No signs, no media, no fake groups being funded by big Labor. It was amazing.

It is difficult to determine whether The One's footdragging is indecision or intention.

Part of it is that he fears having a war resolution with his name on it. After all, he promised to end all wars and bring peace to Planet Earth.

Earlier this week, he may have found some wiggle-room:

==

The footdragging on the attempt to rescue the journalist hostages resulted in their being killed. The WH then defended their inaction by claiming they DID mount a rescue team and it found no hostages. That resulted in ISIS/ISIL now separating the hostages they still have and moving them frequently.

Incompetence or intention?

==

The Keystone Kops may be replaced by The Obama Administration.

Does anyone explain why the (broke) US govt needs to take any side at all? Everyone isn’t thinking clearly because of a couple of YouTube videos. Think: are you basing your beliefs on the same sources you constantly mistrust (media, Obama admin, GOPe). Bring all the troops home. Fortify the border and ports and airspace.

The idea that we can hunker down here and hope that the radical Islamic threat will not affect us is dangerous and ill-informed. We are not just battling ISIS, but the entire global threat that has spread to Asia and Africa.

Jan Karski, the famous Polish hero in WWII who met with FDR to describe his firsthand knowledge of the Nazi concentration camps and the Holocaust, and who moved to the US and taught at Georgetown (I had one of his classes), said the following:

Democratic societies demonstrated on this occasion as on many others, before and after, that they are incapable of understanding political regimes of a different character….Democratic societies are accustomed to think in liberal, pragmatic categories; conflicts are believed to be based on misunderstandings and can be solved with a minimum of good will; extremism is a temporary aberration, so is irrational behavior in general, such as intolerance, cruelty, etc. The effort needed to overcome such basic psychological handicaps is immense….Each new generation faces this challenge again, for experience cannot be inherited.

You post THAT and you should be banned for life!

What hath been seen cannot be unseen!

And there isn’t enough eyewash in all of Walmart’s distribution centers to wash that image out.

“She is building stamina through tough new workouts with a personal trainer and yoga ...... Mrs. Clinton is getting in better physical shape, a necessity for any potential candidate who faces the rigors of the campaign trail. Friends said she has more energy and has also been practicing yoga.”

Nonie Darwish over at American Thinker explains this fight against ISIS as futile because neither Obie, or any of the other Muslim ME countries wants to be known as the apostate who ends the main Islamic goal of a caliphate. Worse than "wants not". None can afford to be painted as the #1 enemy of Islam.

http://americanthinker.com/2014/09/why_is_obama_kicking_the_isis_can_down_the_road.html

Obie's Muslim upbringing will prevent him from doing anything serious about this. "I will stand with Islam"...I think is what he said. It's all quite obvious, makes sense, and explains a lot.

I’m afraid she is. Who, so far, on our side, has displayed an interest to run?

Jeb Bush — Blech! Stay out da Bushes!

Romney? — Where’s my picture of “Oh No! Not this shit again!?”

Christie - Not going to happen.

Cruz — I’d like, but I think he’ll wait and build a movement.

Rand Paul — Ron Paul JUNIOR

Marco Rubio - Mr. Amnesty?

Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Herman Cain? Has beens and election failures.

Sarah Palin - Man, I’d love it but I’m not sure she wants it.

Add any name you’d like, but our list is not prime time. Somebody needs to make a move, do it fast, and get something steamrolling NOW!
