The First banner: ‘Missionaries to Save Lost Souls and Sinners’
Then, the green-cald Missionaries
Then, the Second Banner: “Lost Souls and Sinners”

I don’t know. It seems that the group that will be marching is affiliated with NBC, and that NBC threatened to pull its television coverage if they weren’t allowed to march under the homosexual banner.

PS: I think NYC already tried to pull the permit years ago, and was shot down by a federal judge.

Am not surprised that the USCCB and C Dolan would join in, though it is so wrong it’s beyond getting mad at.
The USCCB and C Dolan are not doing this in a vacuum but with the implicit approval of the Pope. I’m sure C Dolan checked in w/the Vatican first before saying anything about the parade and gay participation in it. This fits right in with this Pope’s social justice background that he has brought right with him into the Vatican. St. Patrick drove the snakes out of Ireland, and now they are slithering in through the back door (think about that) once again via the parades.

Who cares if permits or sponsorship are yanked by outside pressure groups and politicians! Religious paraders should not buckle under. Emulate those innkeepers who wouldn't allow gay marriages on their private property!
Every marching group should pull out of the parade altogether. Boycott it. Let the Irish homos and lesbos march alone.
Demonstrate the pluck 'o the Irish!
Pushback against these kinds of religious insults are effective.....empty blarney is not.
