New York’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will finally end its ban on gay groups marching in its annual Irish celebration, organizers said Wednesday.
OUT@NBCUniversal—a lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender affinity group at 30 Rock—will be flying its banner and marching up Fifth Avenue on March 17, officials said.
That’ll be the only gay group marching in the 2015 version of the world’s largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade, but other LGBT groups can apply in future years, spokesman Bill O’Reilly said. …

Will the Ancient Order of Hibernians be permitted to march in the Gay Pride parade? Probably yes, tho they’d be tossed rotten tomatoes.
Within 5 years, it will be mostly about homosexualty. St Patrick & Irish heritage, not so much.
Well, maybe it’s time that a new parade be organized. One organized to celebrate te principles of St. Patrick and traditional Ireland.
While we are at it, let’s have a St. Charles Lwanga parade on January 15th or so.

Wow, pretty upsetting. I was in Spain for a few weeks last month, in a rather remote place where a lot of hermits had their caves. Monasticism came to Spain from Egypt in about the 4th century, not long after it started, and the early Spanish monks were all hermits.
I can see why. You just think things are too crazy and you go off and find a cave. If I were younger, I’d go off to a traditional contemplative monastery and try to keep the culture alive. This will pass, but it’s going to take a lot of lives and destroy a lot of souls.
You know, it’s still early for a change of plans. Regular marchers should simply take a year off. Let the sodomites have a meaningless parade by themselves.

By it’s very name, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a religious event and thus should fall under First Amendment protections to be able to exclude groups that do not comform to Catholism.
However, if Cardinal Dolan “very supportive” of the gays participating in a religious exercise of the Catholic Church, then there in no hope.
You cannot take children to this parade.
When the smoke clears after all of this cultural destruction, it will be common knowledge that one cannot teach children about sexuality, nor expose them to it, before they reach the age of puberty without damaging their sensibility and their sexual development.
And to expose them to deviant sexual behavior and imagery is worse for the very reasons stated.
To explain to them what the banner means, is doing so. To attend the parade with kids is exposing them, and it is an endorsement, which is a bad spot from which to be teaching them about this deviancy.
The Catholic position, in history, tradition, and the bible from where Catechetical teaching comes, is that homosexuals are god’s children, that we do not judge them, rather we acknowledge their suffering, and they are certainly welcome in the Church, and not excommunicated.
And there is no position on whether this is an innate or learned tendency.
But the behavior is sinful, and therefore not to be endorsed, nor taught to children as a situation absent of morality.
If anyone cares to refute this, and say that it is impossible to raise children now without exposing them to sex prematurely, or deviant sex, including pornography, I refer them to Matthew 18:6, and tell them to just forget it and prepare an answer to God for when they meet Him.
I am surprised that the Ancient order of Hibernians want to close up shop after 150 years of facing the enemy with valor and quit like this.
It seems that that is what they are doing.
Am not surprised that the USCCB and C Dolan would join in, though it is so wrong it’s beyond getting mad at.
There is absolutely no point whatsoever.
