States get to define marriage, and heterosexual marriage doesn’t violate equal protection.

If you’ve got states defining marriage, then they can make it illegal for incestuous marriage, polygamy, forced, etc.

Very good. Glad to see not all of the judiciary have decided to accept the mark.

This nasty, little Communist is not happy.

>> A federal judge has upheld Louisiana's ban on same-sex marriages, as well as the state's refusal to recognize gay marriages legally performed in other states. <<

FINALLY a federal judge makes the CORRECT ruling on this issue. I'm pretty sure the rest of them have all done the left's bidding and struck down traditional marriage laws by citing some non-existent constitutional "right" to marriage.

What's baffling to me is so many people on our side are always yapping about how states should have more influence over the federal government, but they agree with the left in picking almost exclusively FEDERAL judges and officials to be appointed to seats on the US Supreme Court. Then they whine when some allegedly "originalist" federal judge who has been in the beltway for 30+ years moves leftward while serving as SCOTUS judge.

Why not choose SCOTUS judges the way we choose Presidents and select mostly STATE supreme court judges as SCOTUS material?

Very good! Finally, a Federal Judge who understands the law.

(”Judge” Vaughn Walker’s corruption should haunt him endlessly).

Now with all the other Fed Judges who have said gay marriage bans are unconstitutional, will the Supremes FINALLY hear a case and settle this once and for all?

I fear the outcome of a neutral/liberal biased court, but as long as Kennedy doesn’t stray off into a penumbra or obscure reference, it should be 5-4 declaring states have the right to regulate marriage. That way, all the homo and lesbians can concentrate in the Leftist states, leaving tradition values states alone!

Ah, shoot! Who am I kidding? The Left NEVER gives up. They’ll bring it back once the court changes persons.

This is why folks, the 2016 election better not go to a democrat.

FINALLY! A win for the side of reason and God.

Let’s go SCOTUS. Decide this once and for all.

I’m not an LSU fan but I am a Louisiana fan until the day they too give in to that “same-sex” marriage nonsense.

Of course the states should have the power to define marriage. There is no such thing as a federal marriage license.
