A Field Poll released on Tuesday showed President Barack Obama's approval rating had dropped to a record low in the staunchly blue state of California. This decline includes the state's most left-leaning cities, which Field's director described as a particularly bad sign for Obama. "These are constituencies that have been strong followers," Field Poll Director Mark DiCamillo said, according to the Sacramento Bee.
The poll showed Obama's approval rating in California at 45%, down from a second-term high of 62% following his 2013 inauguration. It was also down 5% from the previous Field Poll, which was released in June, making it the first time the president's California approval was under 50% since 2011. Obama's approval dropped 11 points in Los Angeles County and 7 points in the San Francisco Bay area.
DiCamillo suggested the president's apparent issues with his base could spell trouble for California Democrats in the coming midterm elections.

Because he hasn’t been Socialist enough. After nearly six years we should be living in Socialist Nirvana in their view.
Hope springs eternal in the hearts of the GOP-E.
I’ll believe a swing away from Democrats in California when I see it.
It’s California. They wanted Stalin, and instead got Brezhnev.
A 179 degree learning curve. Please regale us in that very moment, that singular event, the epiphany of revelation, when you slap your forehead and say, hey, you know Obama, what a POS! It took you six years for that? Some of us knew it in 2008. Kinda like a no-brainer.
They hoped he would have executed Christians by now
They will still vote Democrat, so who cares?
Ferguson. The timing is perfect, there’s been way too much interest by Obama and Holder, and the Black Grievance Industry has guaranteed riots if there’s no indictment. They’ll probably riot either way though.
Won’t make any diff.
Liberals stall the plane, then while falling they keep pulling the stick back ‘cuz that’s what makes it go up.
Things will not change until CW-II.
So the CA rats will only win with 55% instead of 65%?
The democrat party is opium for the masses. The sheeple believe that they will be best served by the fattest Santa Claus they can find. They’re drinking at an open bar and don’t give a rats a$$ about the tab.
I’d believe the average Dem in CA is disenchanted with Obama. But problems for CA Dems? How could that be? The top two vote getters go into runoffs even if they both are Dems.
It’s a Democrat state, NOT democratic.
There is nothing democratic about Democrats.
Thinking California will turn on Obama is like thinking the Blacks and Jews will vote Republican - not happening. This is just a day dream that MIGHTY be true of actual American citizens but the California Democrats will just bus more Mexicans in to vote Democrat and let them stay as their payoff.
"Sacred and Fundamental Laws that would tear out the roots of vice and of all the evils of a society" including -
I. Nothing in society will belong to anyone, either as a personal possession or as capital goods, except the things for which the person has immediate use, for either his needs, his pleasures, or his daily work.
II. Every citizen will be a public man, sustained by, supported by, and occupied at the public expense.
III. Every citizen will make his particular contribution to the activities of the community according to his capacity, his talent and his age; it is on this basis that his duties will be determined, in conformity with the distributive laws.
Must be that one liberal loony didn’t take his meds on time? CA will be in the Pacific long before the caliloonies have a clue!
“Turing on Obama”, is not to be confused with, “Won’t vote democratic” or
“Wouldn’t vote for Obama again if he were running”
I don’t believe it.
