Personally its SC Grahamnesty who really irks me, I think him losing to a Dem would still be better than another term with his continued deceitfulness.

McConnells pretty lame but is Grahamnesty who I really want gone.

Aye—And let Cochran win with the Democrats he courted.

Tea party voters could dump Mitch McConnell just by staying home

And this is exactly what they should do. On second thought, they SHOULD vote, and they should vote for the Democrat.

It is far more important to teach this man (and the rest of the establishment as well) a lesson for having declared war on us (and paying for those racist ads used in Mississippi) than it is to have just one more RINO incumbent at war with us in the Senate.

In this particular race, the Tea Party needs to project some power, and the only way to do this is to vote for the Democrat.

Yes, the Democrat is an enemy, but McConnell is a traitor, and traitors have a higher priority than enemies.

Q. What do you call a Moderate in Kentucky?

A. A Democrat

And Mitch is the only one too stupid to get the punchline.

Conservatives should refuse to vote for the GOPe who solicited Democrat votes to defeat Conservative Republicans.

We don’t need a second Democrat Party called “GOP”.

Vote “Bullwinkle!”

HUGE mistake. I despise McConnell, but Conservatives need to back him as if he is Ronald Reagan. If they do not, the abominable Alison Grimes will win, and continue to win for perhaps the next 36 years.

The wife & I refuse to vote for him this time. Strange how angry people can get when their Senator threatens them and craps all over them. We’re not like abused wives, we are NOT coming back for our fair share of abuse.

I have no idea how many conservatives feel as we do out here. Going to be interesting to see. My gut feeling at this point is he will pull it out by the skin of his teeth. The Dem fraud machine here is not sufficient (yet) for a Republican to be ahead by 3 points and still lose.

But.....they want this one pretty bad, so I see the likelihood of some heavy duty smears late in the campaign.

Here’s how I would run Grimes campaign: Why would anyone want a Republican that can’t be trusted and betrays his own base? Sell it as a man that can’t be trusted by his own party, so why should Dems *or* Pubbies want him.

Sometimes ya gotta let the Dem win to get rid of a deeply seated RINO.

You are advocating foolishness. Your hatred for Republicans is destructive. A Reid Senate is incomparably worse than a Mcconnell senate

Such fallacious thought got us Obama.

The Tea Party thought is great but it is not going to control in the immediate future. To trash Republicans in a fit of Tea Party self righteousness will continue the destruction.

Republicans, on the other hand, preach the dogma that smaller government and unrestricted corporate power serves the best interests of the common man and woman.

Unfortunately when the preaching is done they actually support a policy of larger government lovingly holding hands with corporate cronies serving their own interests.

A better strategy is to write in the conservative candidate. While write ins will not win the election, they will show to the GOPe just how many people COULD have voted..... if they ran a conservative.

Seeing how McConnell has advanced the Reid/Obummer agenda at every turn by making sure the procedural votes go the Dims way in order that Reid can pass legislation with only 51 votes, I can see why conservatives would not shed too many tears if McConnell goes down in flames.

The media .... after almost 7 years .... ALMOST .... gets it.

So close and yet still so clueless. I wonder when it will finally hit them?

If Democrats have a unifying philosophy, it is that government needs to be effective enough to curtail the economic and environmental abuses of unfettered capitalism. Republicans, on the other hand, preach the dogma that smaller government and unrestricted corporate power serves the best interests of the common man and woman.

I'd hate to be trapped in that mind. Meanwhile fascism runs rampant.

Wishful thinking by the left and by hard right... Like it or not Mitch easily and handily dispatched a 3rd or 4th tier candidate, and is cruising to re-election.

The tea party couldn’t win a primary, they sure aren’t going to cost anyone a general election in this race.

Don’t have to like it, but that’s the tea leaves.
