PJ Media has been covering the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division for years. This is the unit that will be investigating the shooting in Ferguson and deciding whether to charge the police officer with civil rights crimes.
PJ Media had to sue Eric Holder to obtain the resumes of the lawyers he hired to populate this unit. No wonder. The Every Single Oneseries at PJ Media revealed that all of Holders attorney hires were leftists, some even with a history of anti-police activities. Read the detailed biographies of the lawyers here.
Why does it matter that the DOJ unit that will investigate the Ferguson police is stacked with leftists and ideologues? Because anti-police biases of lawyers in this unit have resulted in gross prosecutorial misconduct against police officers.
United States District Judge Kurt Engelhardt issued this blistering 129-page opinion documenting prosecutorial misconduct by DOJ lawyers seeking to convict New Orleans police officers of civil rights violations. These lawyers are still employed by the Criminal Section at the Civil Rights Division. Hans von Spakovsky has this summary of the rage directed at the DOJ from the bench.
Trying to figure out what the prosecutors had done sent the court on a legal odyssey unlike any other. But that legal odyssey led the judge on September 17 to grant a new trial to the New Orleans police officers.
It is the first time, according to Judge Engelhardt, that federal prosecutors acting with anonymity used social media to circumvent ethical obligations, professional responsibilities, and even to commit violations of the Code of Federal Regulations. The 129-page order, which details the misbehavior of the Louisiana DOJ lawyers and the Civil Rights Divisions Dobinski, is appalling reading. And it isnt just that Dobinski was a high-level Justice Department lawyer who was posting anonymous blogs about the trial.
She also encouraged other anonymous bloggers, who repeatedly posted vigorous pro-prosecution statements strongly condemning the defendants, their witnesses, and their entire defense. To make matters worse, Dobinski was the supervising taint attorney assigned to the New Orleans case.
PJ Media covered Dobinskis misconducthere, here and here. As Holder moves forward in Ferguson, keep the documented misconduct of his lawyers in mind.
Eric Holder’s Department of Just Us........................
The Head of the “Department Of Jokers” has arrived ,like in the Batman movies

I have said from the beginning of this fiasco that Holder’s job is to make sure this DOES NOT turn into another Travon.
They will hover over these proceedings and poke and irritate endlessly.
Holder better hurry , his 15 minutes is almost up
I have no doubt at all that you’re right and Holder will personally be directing this investigation.
This will be a kangaroo court investigation by the 0bama/Holder Injustice Department.

Yeppers. But just as Martin was guilty and Zimmerman was innocent, and the Just Us Dept. had no basis for a federal charge in Florida; these bastids will also come up empty handed here in Ferguson.
And I laugh at their bitter failures and pathetic attempts to find wrongdoing.
Bump for that great graphic and the FReepathon.
No federal laws broken and the local sheriff should send the feds packing.
I read your link to the biographies of Holder’s animals.
Congress has all the power necessary to politically euthanize the rabid species that dominate DOJ.
Of course, it won’t happen while Dingy Harry runs the senate. Who supposes it will happen if/when the GOPE take the senate next January?
These sorts of realizations tend to make me wonder why I should vote at all.
Grotesque DOJ Misconduct
The Holder DOJ stopped at nothing to convict five New Orleans police officers.
By Hans A. von Spakovsky
NRO OCTOBER 3, 2013
In a shocking case of grotesque misconduct by federal prosecutors, a federal judge in Louisiana has ordered a new trial for five New Orleans police officers convicted for a shooting on the Danziger Bridge on September 4, 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and for a subsequent cover-up. This is another black eye for the Holder Justice Department that the media have barely covered.
Participating in the misconduct that the judge said had created an online 21st-century carnival atmosphere was Karla Dobinski, a lawyer in the Criminal Section of the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department and the former deputy chief of the section.
The reversal of the convictions is what Judge Kurt Engelhardt calls a bitter pill for Hurricane Katrina survivors, but his investigation of the matter provides an intensive inside look at the unprofessionalism of some of the lawyers at the Holder Justice Department, and also at the departments attempts to obscure its misdeeds.
Last December, I reported on what Judge Engelhardt called the skulduggery and perfidy of DOJ prosecutors in a scathing order issued on November 26, 2012. At the time, the lawyers for the defendants had filed a motion for a new trial. They claimed that the prosecutors had leaked secret grand-jury proceedings and engaged in a public-relations campaign to inflame public opinion and sway the jury through anonymous postings on nola.com, the website run by the Times-Picayune.
It turned out the defendants lawyers were correct. In his November order, the judge detailed his findings that two senior prosecutors in the office of the U.S. attorney in New Orleans were responsible for many of the anonymous postings. These writings mocked the defense, attacked the defendants and their attorneys, were approbatory of the United States Department of Justice, declared the defendants obviously guilty, and discussed the jurys deliberations.
The rest of the history

Holder’s lawyers are at this moment scheming on ways to make reality and facts bend to myth. Their job is to destroy truth, and perpetuate the myth of white racism and an unfair system that routinely discriminates against blacks. It’s not an easy task, but the media will cheerlead and carry the persecution’s water.
The plan is first we give Darren Wilson a fair trial then well hang him.
That whole ‘Every Single One’ series is excellent, it’s unbelievable that the DOJ could get away with loading all the departments with these anti-American leftists.
It would be great to think they’ll be gotten rid of but I’m not holding my breath even should we elect a conservative president.
