The prolonged release of the officers name and then the subsequent alleged information regarding a robbery is the reason why the family and the local community have such distrust for the local law enforcement agencies.
It is no way transparent to release the still photographs alleged to be Michael Brown and refuse to release the photographs of the officer that executed him.
The police strategy of attempting to blame the victim will not divert our attention, from being focused on the autopsy, ballistics report and the trajectory of the bullets that caused Michaels death and will demonstrate to the world this brutal execution of an unarmed teenager.

How many of these “unarmed innocent teens” who have engaged a peaceful law-abiding citizen to either threaten harm, or to actually commit harm upon them, are supposed to get away with it? these people don’t actually believe what they’re saying, or they wouldn’t be so cavalier about the fact that black teens shoot and kill each other all day long over being “disrespected” or kook-aid recipes (that’s a true incident), and other such things. But when one of their precious thugs pays the price for actually harming a peaceful law-abiding citizen—if that citizen is non-black—they start playing the ghetto lottery for all it’s worth.
Seems they should be more concerned with behavior of their son.
I would hate burying a loved one knowing the last thing they did was commit a violent crime.
Can’t a black man commit a strong-arm robbery anymore without being shot?
As an aside... SHAME on the PD for not releasing the officer's picture. It might have mitigated some violence/looting and some of the liberal sanctimony.
Yeah well I’m outraged at the “he didn’t do nuffin” lie.
I wish the guy had not been killed, but what the heck is wrong with getting the truth out? I thought they wanted transparency
And what the heck is wrong with releasing stuff that is favorable to the officer involved, yes we now think we know that the officer pulled the guy over not knowing about the robbery???
Whatever we now know that he was not perfect as had been reported, now that we can view the video.
I dont care for the coverage on cnn and msnbc, they have already convicted the officer, and Fox is not much better either.
Speaking of Harris Faulkner on Fox, my opinion of her went down when she was the one on duty at FOX when George Zimmermans not guilty verdict came down, to me she was clearly disgusted by the verdict, I thought very unprofessional
trayvon ii. this time it’s with a cop.
They need restitution. Give them a convenience store and they can rob it whenever they need money.
... how about that fully looted and burned out QT?
HF
They are opportunists.
Well, people like Jesse Jackson, Rev. Al and Benjamin Crump are opportunists who prey on people like Trayvon’s parents and this guy’s parents.
I hate to say it, but if you assassinate the character of the cop by calling him and assassin, then one can’t complain about defending this accusation. Dana Radio has a call on website of an alleged friend of family telling the family’s side. It is 100% opposite the story in the media.
everything about thisis trayvon ii.
including the doj orchestration of the protests.
Since when is it a requirement to release photos of police officers? Imagine the jeopardy of police and families if photos were released all the time. Heavens I think police are required to have unlisted phone numbers. What is REALLY outrageous is that they refer to it as an “execution”, which shows precisely their intentions, and it isn’t getting to the truth.

Lawyer: Friend says he and Michael Brown robbed store
The lawyer for Johnson, who was walking with Michael Brown when Wilson fatally shot Brown, said Johnson told authorities about the cigar theft earlier this week.
He told them about the cigarillos and that Big Mike took cigarillos, said the lawyer, former St. Louis Mayor Freeman Bosley Jr.

EXCERPTS
In Trayvons case, (Parks & Crump) alerted the news media more quickly. They phoned the Rev. Al Sharpton almost instantly, and organized marches with local civil rights activists. They also started pressing for federal involvement and alleging a cover-up from the get-go.
(snip)
In court, you have the jury, Crump says. Our job is to get the case to a jury. We need to fight first in the court of public opinion. The jury is the American people.
Crump wants to fight in the “court of public opinion” ... when it should be in a court room.
But it resonates with the black public. They want outrage.
I’m beyond caring what they’re beyond.
