In a discussion regarding a bill in Louisiana’s health and welfare committee, Representative Katrina Jackson expressed her distaste for the large number of African-American abortions. House Bill No. 388 would require abortionists to provide more information to pregnant women seeking abortion, as well as new regulations for abortion practices.
One group arguing against the bill said that it would help minority women, especially African-American women who “don’t have necessarily the same access to contraceptive use that higher income women do.”
Jackson strongly disagreed, saying:
I’ve heard it thrown around by the young ladies at the table today, that this [HB 388] protects mostly minority women. But, I want to address something. I’m not sure if you are aware but the number one genocide right now in the African-American community, and why we’re becoming a minority of minorities, is because most of our babies are dying in the womb from abortion. Did you know that?

Comparatively, 4.2 million African-Americans since 1973 have died from heart disease, cancer, accidents and violent crimes combined. In New York City alone in 2012, 31,328 African-American babies were killed in abortions while just 24,758 were born. More African-American children are aborted than born in NYC.
Jackson goes on to say, “[…] I don’t want people advocating erroneously for African-American women. That’s my suggestion. Get all the facts, because I’m an African American woman, and, if we protect, trust me on this, if we protect one facet of African-Americans, we protect all of them.”

Because she’s probably been brainwashed into believing that the Republicans will “put her people back in chains” which is ironic since the GOP was the party that freed her people in the 1st place.

I know whites who are from Africa and became American.
Blacks here have no clue about Africa.
I asked one couple what part of Africa they were from and they couldn’t even name a country there.

Extremely annoying- my family is from South Africa and I have explained this at work and I just get this blank look on people’s faces. The headline sounds ridiculous and the meaning becomes convoluted. Should I be called European American? European-African-American. At least we could then differentiate between Mexican-American and Central American American and not conflate statistics in every state in the US where the FBI’s top ten are all considered Caucasian or white and they are all from South of the once US Texas - Mexico border.
She better shut up and get on the plantation. The rats will make her disappear. Of course she is 100% correct.
That was Margaret Sanger’s point.
Because she likes the freebies and the race quotas. She's against black abortions, but not abortions for other races, because black abortions get in the way of a black majority that would remedy the injustices of a nation that oppresses African Americans. Her objection is political rather than moral.

I have done that a couple times. What was funny one time where I used to work was a conversation that included a dude from Congo. He was indignant at the term AA. We also had a white guy from South Africa. He called himself AA and one of the black Americans tried and call him on it. If not for being so stupid it was funny to watch.

I used that on a job application. HR was clueless when I went in for my interview.
That’s what I gathered also. She’s a leftist no matter what her thoughts are on this.
