Washington (AFP) - Former secretary of state Hillary Clinton blamed the rise of Islamist militants in Iraq and Syria on failures of US policy under President Barack Obama, in an interview published Sunday.

It’s Obama’s fault! I hope Tia Leone can save the situation.
Looks more like a beached whale in a monica lewisnky blue dress.
Look how the dog avoids the pig and those kankles.
“hypocrisy never stops a liberal.”............
Isn’t it the truth?
Right now, “What Difference Does It Make” says a lot, it makes a HUGE difference.
The meme has gone out to the media.
Sorry, not buying it...all I can recall is her ‘willing suspension of disbelief’ at Petraeus during the Iraqi troop surge and leading the global apology tour.
There was talk in Congress of doing more but because of the aircraft downing in Ukraine and events in Iraq, that has ended.
As for Hillary, she is a Liberal Interventionist and her foreign policy views are different from Realist Obama.
Through-out 2011 and 2012 the Liberal Interventionists dems and NeoCon republicans wanted to arm the Syrian rebels, but the Realists were opposed. Then the Realists began to shift in late 2012 and early 2013 so by spring they all wanted to arm them. More importantly, republican Realist Bob Corker shifted, and he was/is minority chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
So, spring 2013, that committee voted 15-3 to arm the rebels. The Liberal Interventionists dems, the NeoCon republicans, the Realists(R&D) all voting yes. The two antiwar dems and isolationist Rand Paul voted no.
Obama worked up a plan and submitted back to congress for approval so it was much later in 2013 before any of this began.
Then later in 2013, the committee voted 10-8 to bomb Syria, but since that was a hot potato, it went nowhere.

Hilary is going 3rd party.
Do a search for Clintons Third Way. The Clintons started Hillary’s run for president as a 3rd party as far back as 1998-1999.
She’s going to run against both Obama’s extremism and republican extremism using what Bill Clinton called “triangulation”.
Old, obese, and being continuously dishonest isn’t a good way to go through life. The leftist sow needs to take her ill-gotten money and fade away. However, I’d prefer seeing her in prison, but, then...
That slip and fall that left her batty with a concussion apparently did more damage than we knew.
While SoS, she could hardly remember her own name. Now that she is out, she recalls how bad the Obama foreign policy was. The touble is, Hillary, YOU were the one in charge of applying Obama’s foreign policy.
If Hillary does run, many of her excuses will be based on BC/AC — Before Concussion/After Concussion.
Since 1991 when the Clinton’s first popped up on the national scene, the level of violence, or the level of threatened violence, has increased every time a Clinton has sought the presidency.
It’s no different this time.
This is Hillary’s last chance for the WH. The unprecedented level of violence/threat of violence we are seeing here in this country and around the world coming together at the same time isn’t by chance in my opinion.
The Clintons path to power has followed the 1960’s radicals/Weather Underground playbook of using violence as a path to absolute power.
Looks like a giant Portuguese Man O War.
Exactly correct. I am amazed at how many are buying the "moderates in Syria" Bull. EVERYWHERE and EVERY TIME the existing gov is overthrown the radicals take over. ALWAYS, the only nation to escape that fate was Egypt after the military stepped in an evicted the radicals that had taken over there.
Added to regime change in Iraq and the ongoing attempts to overthrow Assad. According to weekend news shows, hillary's "solution" was we should've kept arming good rebels to fight Assad and the bad rebels. The whole concept of picking and choosing which rebels or freedom fighters or protestors or whatever has been an epic fail lieading to chaos everywhere it's been done.
Interesting take on things, since Assad was fighting against the bad rebels until the US tried to topple him.
I wish some DC pol were bold enough to say we should be helping Assad stop the rebels and disintegrate ISIS where ever they are.
