Yep. A 19 year old cousin of mine was having the same problem. She wanted a gun, and cops/school said, "No,no protection for you until 21, and NOT on school".
She called me and asked my advice. I said carry anyways. "How many times have you gone through a metal detector at school? How many stops and patdowns/searches of purse at school?"
Answer, none.
Carry quietly and it is always better to lose tuition than your life. She still carries today at medical school....quietly.

Concealed means concealed. I carry mine everywhere that there is not a metal detector. If a detector I don’t go, outside jury duty summons.
