A 20-year-old Dartmouth student says she may have to give up her Ivy League dream and drop out of school because the prestigious college won't allow her to carry a gun—to protect herself against a predator.
Taylor Woolrich, a junior, says Dartmouth administrators told her they won’t let her carry a gun on campus, even though she lives in fear of a man who has been stalking her since she was a high school student in San Diego.
“It’s absolutely unfair,” Woolrich said about her attempts to have the school make an exception to its weapons ban. “It’s one of the hardest things I’ve had to deal with.” …

Concealed means concealed. I carry mine everywhere that there is not a metal detector. If a detector I don’t go, outside jury duty summons.

Once was a time in Amerika that a couple of male 'cousins' would visit with the stalker and 'persuade' them that a life-long limp using a cane to walk is not worth stalking their 'cousin'. My son participated in a "Safe Walks" program at his university, for a small credit towards his tuition. A student simply had to call a number to be escorted around the campus.
But off campus was a no-no.

She is a great looking young woman and probably fairly smart.
However, she was not forced to go to a left wing Ivy league school.
So she should find a school that will allow her to carry a weapon to protect herself.
