WASHINGTON (AP) Following the quick collapse of the cease-fire in Gaza, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the White House not to force a truce with Palestinian militants on Israel.
Sources familiar with conversations between Netanyahu and senior U.S. officials, including Secretary of State John Kerry, say the Israeli leader advised the Obama administration "not to ever second guess me again" on the matter. The officials also said Netanyahu said he should be "trusted" on the issue and about the unwillingness of Hamas to enter into and follow through on cease-fire talks.
The Obama administration on Friday condemned "outrageous" violations of an internationally brokered Gaza cease-fire by Palestinian militants and called the apparent abduction of an Israeli soldier a "barbaric" action.
The strong reaction came as top Israeli officials questioned the effort to forge the truce, accusing the U.S. and the United Nations of being naive in assuming the radical Hamas movement would adhere with its terms. The officials also blamed the Gulf state of Qatar for not forcing the militants to comply.

Mr. Netanyahu needs to knock Obama on his a$$ the next time he meets with him.
This would have been far better if Netanyahu could have said this in a televised meeting with Kerry.
Netanyahu has more credibility & leadership in his pinky then the entire Obama administration.
The difference between having a man and a boi running your country ..the man knows the score from the get go - the boi continues to flail. Even after this, Obama’s comments are 50% BS.
Let me know if you are audited by the IRS.
John Kerry was in Vietnam, you know.
Sending a Peacenik like John Kerry into a war zone is naïveté of the highest calibre. Our country is becoming a joke, it is embarrassing. You look at the Peace and Love weird characters of the sixties and wonder what they will be when they “grow up”... they “mature” to Hope and Change...dream to dream, vapid to vapid. They will never change, maybe all the pot weakened their brains. I’m sure Obama felt more successful as a member of the Chum Gang. How a person could come from those beginnings to President if the United States indicates something is basically wrong. He’s not the problem. He hasn’t changed much as he moved from Chum Gang to Community Organizer to POTUS. What changed are the people who elected him twice. These people are our next door neighbors...what has happened to them?
Oh, to be able to see that happen.
Actually Israel has demonstrated a remarkable restraint over the past sixty five years that does not bode well for them. When Caesar conquered Gaul, Gaul was Romanized within a generation. There were no refugee camps, self governing large concentrations of Gauls on adjacent lands, “multiculturalism” or any tolerance for hostile actions. When Rome fell there were no internal revolts in Gaul, Britain, Spain or anywhere else they took the trouble to fully conquer and rule. Living in peace adjacent to your sworn enemies is a relatively new concept.
They believe in nothing, hence will fall for anything.

Can the Republicans nominate Netanyahu for President in 2016 and just say he was born in Hawaii ?
Sending a Peacenik like John Kerry into a war zone is naïveté of the highest calibre.

Hanoi Boi is a Peacenik & a “peacock”. Have you ever noticed how impressed he is with the sound of his own voice .... I mean that literally. I noticed it years ago and he really does love to hear himself talk ..... probably plays his speeches back to himself & practices his voice inflections.
How would the Secret Service react if Obama, a head of state, gets decked by Netanyahu, a head of state?
When Bibi has to stifle his disgust & stand in the same room with Obama, are the security details of both heads of state in close proximity?
One punch from Bibi & he could easily win election by acclaim as U.S. president. Not born here? No problemo, our current POTUS wasn’t, either.
;^)
The Israeli leadership is sadly mistaken if they think the leftists running our country are naive.
They know exactly what they are doing. Their goal is to undercut Israel and install militant Islamists wherever possible.
Can we trade Obongo for Bibi?
Go Bibi ...Go Bibi ... Go Bibi ...Go Bibi ...
