Read: 1 John 4:7-16
The Aran Islands, off the west coast of Ireland, are known for their beautiful sweaters. Patterns are woven into the fabric using sheeps wool to craft the garments. Many of them relate to the culture and folklore of these small islands, but some are more personal. Each family on the islands has its own trademark pattern, which is so distinctive that if a fisherman were to drown it is said that he could be identified simply by examining his sweater for the family trademark.
In Johns first letter, the apostle describes things that are to be trademarks of those who are members of Gods family. In 1 John 3:1, John affirms that we are indeed part of Gods family by saying, Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! He then describes the trademarks of those who are the children of God, including, Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God (4:7).
Because love is of God, the chief way to reflect the heart of the Father is by displaying the love that characterizes Him. May we allow His love to reach out to others through usfor love is one of our family trademarks.

No, I don’t want to live in Austin no matter what they say. Now San Marcos would be OK.
I live 90 miles north, where I wake up every morning and smell the cows from the dairy farm down the road.

I’m 68 and lost it on question 13 ... “Do you plan on having a family anytime soon”. LOL! Might have had a third option, just say’n.
City? NO way!!!!
Sorry every one of these has too many friggin people, I want stores and people just close enough that I don't have to drive more than a hour or so, otherwise a cabin with nothing but nature and God. I guess ideally no city best suits me.
Well huh. Seattle. Next closest is Austin. I am where I’m supposed to be.

There’s no perfect place-—San Diego has good weather but its Kookifornia and not enough rain. Western North Carolina is nice. Actually kick out all the liberals from Asheville, NC and thats a strong possibility.

Best part: I needed a mirror to apply the face paint, so I used the bathroom at Nathan's, just off the boardwalk, and walked the rest of the way to the stadium ... And NO ONE says a frickin' word, because it's CONEY ISLAND, BROOKLYN!
Although, next time, white socks and sneakers so my legs don't stand out so much. I don't need to hear from the fashion police.
ROFL! Boy, this poll *really* skews left. 80% Seattle (How I’d love to share the sympathy notes to a friend who recently moved there with her transferred husband. They’re originally from Oklahoma & Seattle has to be hell), 65% Austin? Noooo. San Antonio is quite bad enough. Honolulu & Miami? Oh, hell, no. Hurricanes, heat, & humidity. Not to mention a lit-tle too crazy. 65% Portland was where I really cracked up.
Now, if they’d said the Bay Area in Houston...we love it here, enough to move even.
I’ll be anxious to see if anyone gets a “red” result.
