Senate Democrats are angling to include the entire Gang of Eight bill in a conference committee with whatever border crisis bill comes out of Speaker John Boehners House of Representatives, Politico reports.
The only way any piece of the House proposal could become law is if it was conferenced with the Senates comprehensive immigration reform bill, which is something wed certainly consider, a senior Democratic aide told Politico.
Gang of Eight Republicans Sens. Marco Rubio (R-FL), John McCain (R-AZ), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Jeff Flake (R-AZ) recently issued a joint statement saying they did not want this to happen, but theres no stopping Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Speaker Boehner from entering a conference committee at which this could happen if both Reid and Boehner want to.
But the left is ramping up using its battle plans to force Republicans into a worse position with this too. House GOP wants to change immigration policy on border bill, Frank Sharry, a pro-amnesty advocate, Tweeted on Tuesday. We do too: CIR [Comprehensive Immigration Reform]. Look forward to Senate Dems demanding CIR in conference.
The Senate Democrats boldness comes as Speaker Boehner and House GOP leadership backed down, refusing to fight President Barack Obamas plans to use executive orders to grant amnesty via executive order to 5 to 6 million illegal aliens in America.

I know republicans are sick and ineffective SOB’s but they have to have head inserted in rear to even consider this when 80% of the public are outraged by what Obama is letting happen on the border.
Good God!
“....comes as Speaker Boehner and House GOP leadership backed down, refusing to fight President Barack Obamas plans to use executive orders to grant amnesty via executive order to 5 to 6 million illegal aliens in America.”
Am I the only that thinks this? I’d say let the SOB sign an executive amnesty bill. Then it’s his, and he’ll reap the results of it. The country will go crazy. I think you’ll might see democrats losing just about every senate race.
The GOP must have given up on November’s elections if they allow Hopalong Harry the cattle rustler to get away with this crime.
The only other thing needed re: immigration is to a) stop all; and b) stop all.
Of course Boehner caved.
It’s what he does, he enjoys caving in, his secret ambition was always to be a worker at the Bunny Ranch.
At one time it was mine, too, but that was a long time ago, and I never had the responsibility of being Speaker of the House. /S
Lol!
I think Boehner should do nothing and every republican ad from now until November ties every rat to supporting illegal immigration and supporting Obamacare.
Turds in the f’n punch bowl.
Will we ever be rid of that crying drunk?
The Boneheaded leadership of the Beltway Republicans have never figured out, or will never admit, that their betrayal of the base on amnesty schemes since W in 2006 is what has cost them millions of votes (people staying home) in the last two presidential elections.
And they probably are vain and stupid enough to pull some fool stunt before November and even manage to screw up the golden opportunity before them to gain seats in the House and Senate.
The Illegals are just Plan B ,so they can pass the Gang of Eight bill
Do Republicans never want to be elected again?
Are the Democrats outright holding their families hostage, or do they have the IQ of pond scum?
Well Duh!
I had to look twice to make sure this wasn’t satire. Boehner should be rounded up and held against his will at a hidden location until the November elections so that he won’t do something stupid.
The news media loves something that has a good "handle" on it and this fills the bill.
It lets them manufacture news when there really isn't any.
