Back in January, Nancy Pelosi had an infamous interview with Jon Stewart of The Daily Show that crystalizes what the 2014 election just 100 days from today is really all about.
Pressed on the problems with the rollout of ObamaCare, Stewart asked Pelosi whether Democrats needed to make a stronger case for the competence of government if they were going to try to pass large, expansive programs.
Why is it so hard to get a company to execute that competently? Stewart said of the ObamaCare website.
Stunned, Pelosi responded simply: I dont know.
What do you mean you dont know, Stewart said, jumping out of his chair. How do you not know?!
Stewarts question was basic and simple but important and revealing. And its exactly what American voters are asking as they watch whats happening in Washington: Big government bureaucracies careening out of control. From the Veterans Administration to the IRS, somethings gone terribly wrong and people are suffering as a result.
No matter where you stand on the list of issues facing our country right now, one thing is abundantly clear: President Obamas administration has proven itself wholly incompetent at running our government even at a basic level. So its no surprise a plurality of Americans now view President Obama as the worst president since World War II.
Whether its the recent scandal in the Veterans Administration that has put our nations bravest heroes at risk, the security and humanitarian crisis occurring at our southern border, or the ongoing problems with the rollout and execution of ObamaCare over the last two years, its clear that those who put their faith in big government solutions have a lot to explain to the American people.
Thats pretty relevant for two reasons in particular.
For one, the president and his party have executed an ambitious agenda since he took office to increase the size and scope of the federal government an agenda theyd like to continue expanding. Yet, at the same time, they have proven themselves utterly incapable of making any of it work.
Secondly, the incompetence of this administration is further proof of why its so important there is a proper check and balance on President Obamas administration and the bureaucrats he appoints.
When American voters elected Republicans to the House majority in 2010, they did so because we promised to be a check on President Obama, rein in the intrusion of government in their lives, and create jobs. Thats an obligation weve taken seriously.
Ive been traveling across the country, and our candidates are running strong campaigns focused on how they will produce results for the American people on jobs, the economy and health care, to name a few. Democrats, meanwhile, are stuck defending a status quo that simply isnt working.
- In Arizona, Martha McSally is running another strong race against Democrat Ron Barber. McSally, a retired Air Force colonel and the first female fighter pilot to fly in combat, has a winning message about how shell fight for women in Congress just like she did in uniform.
- Will Hurd in the 23rd District in Texas is a former CIA agent and successful businessman who has put freshman Democrat Pete Gallego on high alert. With the recent crisis at the border, this district is seeing first-hand the devastating consequences of this part-time president, and Gallegos constant defense of Obama wont play well in this district Mitt Romney won.
- Up in Minnesota, long-time Democrat Collin Peterson is facing a candidate who the press has called his worst nightmare. Republican Torrey Westrom is giving Peterson his toughest race ever, talking to Minnesota families and farmers about how Petersons support for Cap and Trade and the Pelosi agenda is making it more difficult for them to survive in the Obama economy.
- The son of Cuban exiles, Miami-Dade County School Board Member Carlos Curbelo is ready to bring change to Washington. Hes running against Democrat Joe Garcia, who in just under two years in office is already dogged by corruption allegations.
These are just a few of our incredible candidates who are offering a fresh voice in Washington versus the Democrats record of failed governance and incompetence.
Late Democratic Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan of New York once said, The single most exciting thing you encounter in government is competence, because it's so rare.
Today, that line rings true more than ever for Americans headed to the polls in just 100 days. If there ever was a time for a referendum election on an administration, this is that time.
Well: America & all Americans.....you have a one time only chance to save the free USA on November 4, 2014 by voting to destroy, politically, both the Democrat Party and failed POTUS, Barack Hussein Obama...One Choice, One Chance. Miss it and you will destroy the American Republic nation...forever!!! What say you? I say......get out...and, vote against any Democrat candidate.....no matter who they might be!!!

A vote for a Democrat congressman is a vote for Nancy Pelosi as Speaker.
A vote for a Democrat senate candidate is a vote for Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader.
Let’s nationalize this. No matter how moderate or reasonable a Democrat running for Congress may seem, they will be votes for the Obama agenda if elected. Let’s not lose sight of that.
Incompetence? It’s an election about deception.
EXACTLY...Lies and Deception by the Democrat’s and Rinos
Yes, this election is for all the marbles. Winner take all.
The choice in November is between bulls**t and horses**t. The democrats are offering BS and the source of BS is, obviously bulls. Bulls aren’t good for much except screwing over the herd. Republicans are offering horses**t which, obviously, comes from horses. Horses actually can be useful if guided and applied to a task properly.
GOP-e thinks this is an opportunity to win and take the lead in the old dance. We will get nothing but road apples if we vote and go home. Putting these GOP-e idiots in office will be meaningless unless we ride them with skill, unremitting determination and really change things. Leaving them to their own devices will not improve the air around here.
Many GOPe candidates are campaigning on their ability to run Big Government more competently.
That’s why Dear Leader is out on the campaign trail. Valerie told him to get his punk ass out there and go and collect some cash. She knows her demonic stronghold is about to be over with, if they lose.
Eloquent
Having been on the business end of removal of both bulls**t and horses**t, I can say with authority that horses**t is the less unpleasant to deal with. It is both drier and less odoriferous, and makes nice pickings for the sparrows.
But that aside, neither is the preferred decoration for the front parlor.
Our Democrat President doesn’t like his job, so he’s gone golfing. He likes to lecture because then he’s the only one talking.
Seriously? Yeah, right.
I appreciate the passion that you bring to your argument, and in the past I would have agreed. I always held my nose and voted Republican.
But with all due respect, I think that it is more important to defeat the RINOs than to defeat the Democrats.
There are two reasons why I now take this position:
1) Because the Republican Party must be forced to face the reality that they cannot win elections without the support of the conservative base, and must be forced to recognize that if they want to win elections, they have to abandon the whole "moderate reach-across-the-aisle" thing and start standing on conservative principles.
2) I think that a Republican minority party that stands and act on principle, and knows how to articulate those principles, will do more to raise public awareness if how destructive the Democrat policies are for our nation, while taking strong action to frustrate the Democrat agenda.
As exhibit A for my argument, I submit the following brief article:
Warner presses Gillespie on climate change
So I am done voting for RINO/GOPe candidates EVER again.
Democrats and republicans are now just playing “good cop, bad cop” with us. It’s why incumbency and RINO’s are as big an issue as “Democrat”.
It’s why I’m voting for the Democrat against McConnell - the first time I’ve voted democrat since I voted for Dixie Lee Ray in 1972.
For a lot of us the primaries are over, we will go to the polls and have a choice between a democrat or a republican, I think that was the point he was trying to make.
Ask President Dukakis about a platform of “competence”.
If a majority of voters gave a rat’s ass about competence, we would not be in this fix. But they don’t, and we are.
People want to be led. They want to be told what to do. Obama has them dialed in, and the GOPe is clueless.
Well, the point I was trying to make is that we shouldn't be voting for any more RINOs in any general election. EVER.
See Reason #1 in my post.
