The United States suspended operations at its embassy in Libya Saturday and evacuated its diplomats to neighboring Tunisia under U.S. military escort amid a significant deterioration in security in Tripoli as fighting intensified between rival militias, the State Department said.
“Due to the ongoing violence resulting from clashes between Libyan militias in the immediate vicinity of the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli, we have temporarily relocated all of our personnel out of Libya,” spokeswoman Marie Harf said.
No news on how well the president shot.

A year later, in September, 2012, a group we had supplied in the War for Liberation attacked our consulate and CIA annex in Benghazi. The Ambassador, one security man and two CIA contractors were killed in defense of the positions.
In July, 2014, our embassy in Libya has become untenable and the staff has been evacuated. We no longer have a presence in a country that we acted to "liberate".
Therefore, tell me, Mr. President, exactly what has your foreign policy accomplished in Libya. And at what cost in blood and treasure.
Could you also tell us what effect, if any, these developments will have on your future policy?
