So glad the senate has so much time to spend on frivolous legislation that obviously wasn’t going anywhere. I guess such matters as dealing with the invasion of illegals don’t matter.

Three Republicans supported the bill: Sens. Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Mark Kirk of Illinois.AKA, Evil Supporters of the Democrat Death Cult.

Apparently three RINO Senators don’t believe in the freedom of religion.

The bill might have failed but it undoubtedly won some liberal senators some political brownie points in an election year.

All of these women are screaming for “free” contraceptives.
Where are guys supposed to go for free Viagra, ect? Unlike birth control, those ED medicines cost a small fortune - so I’ve heard. (cough)

Can we please get real here. Tell what REALLY happened...
Senate Democrats' effort to push back against the Supreme Court's Hobby Lobby decision stalled Wednesday when their bill to restore employers' responsibility to provide contraception abortifacients coverage under the health law was defeated on a procedural vote.
Many may be surprised to learn that Hobby Lobby offered/offers contraception coverage to their employees. They just didn't want to pay for abortifacients for their employees.

Bid To Kill Religious Rights Fails
July 16, 2014
Bill Donohue comments on the Senate vote held today on the Protect Women's Health from Corporate Interference Act: The assault on religious liberty lost today as the Senate failed to achieve the 60 votes necessary to advance this bill. While the outcome is welcome, the fact that a majority of Senators, almost all Democrats, are still bent on eviscerating the religious liberty rights of Americans is very disturbing. It seems they will stop at nothing to trample on our First Amendment freedoms. The vote is being widely misreported by the media as a vote on contraception. It was not. The issue is abortion, not contraception. All four of the procedures that plaintiffs for Hobby Lobby cited in their brief involved at least the possibility that a pregnancy might be terminated; prevention and termination are not identical. Moreover, this company does not object to providing contraceptives. Ergo, attempts to override the high court's decision has nothing to do with contraception. The lust for abortion is sickening, and the war on religion is equally contemptuous. Outside the Capitol today there were anti-Catholic protesters flagging their signs, "KEEP YOUR ROSARIES OFF MY OVARIES." The bigots were from Code Pink, the far left-wing band of activists. But we won't look for Nancy Pelosi to condemn them, even though she loves to tout what a "devout Catholic" she is. Phone: 212-371-3191 E-mail: pr@catholicleague.org

hobby lobby has a plan that gives employees 80% of the potential coverages for contraception.
it’s just not enough for these baby-killing bastards. they act like the world is over b/c they only get 80% of what they want.
never forget that b/c these are the guys that say they are for reasonable solutions and compromises. they can’t compromise at 80%. futher muckers have to force 100% on people or else they scream the world is ending and all women everywhere will die.
