I assume if it passed the senate it would have got stopped in the house, correct?
Who was the RINO who went along with the Rats?
If a bill has passed in BOTH the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate and has been approved by the President, or if a presidential veto has been overridden, the bill becomes a law and is enforced by the government (Assuming Obama will enforce it, which in the case of Hobby Lobby, he certainly will IF PASSED ).
So glad the senate has so much time to spend on frivolous legislation that obviously wasn’t going anywhere. I guess such matters as dealing with the invasion of illegals don’t matter.

RE: Who was the RINO who went along with the Rats?
Republican Senators Lisa Murkowski (Alaska), Susan Collins (Maine), and Mark Kirk (Illinois) voted to advance the bill,
The house couldn’t be that stupid, it would pass such a measure.
On the other hand...
Apparently three RINO Senators don’t believe in the freedom of religion.

Even if passed I’m pretty sure SCOTUS would have done the same thing, except this time on 1st Amendment grounds.
What, in three years, after grinding through the court system?
HF
Not if Hairy “Deems” it passed.
Don’t worry Harry The Reid will bring it up over and over and over again until he gets his way
It’s certainly a shame that Murkowski was elected in AK. I hope they throw her out of office in a few years.
So there were 56 fascists who wanted to force people to choose between their beliefs and their jobs.
Yes. I didn’t say it was ideal.
SCOTUS should have just gone ahead and struck it down on RIFRA and 1st Amendment grounds.
But they are modest when they do the right thing.
The bill might have failed but it undoubtedly won some liberal senators some political brownie points in an election year.
The house. THIS HOUSE would not pass this.
