Democrats see a political winner in the stinging defeat they suffered when the Supreme Court ruled that businesses with religious objections may deny coverage for contraceptives under President Barack Obama’s health care law.
A four-term senator - Washington state’s Patty Murray - and a vulnerable freshman - Mark Udall of Colorado - have pushed legislation that would counter last month’s court ruling and reinstate free contraception for women who are on health insurance plans of objecting companies.
The Senate was expected to vote Wednesday on moving ahead on the bill, which backers have dubbed the “Not My Boss’ Business Act.” Republicans who have endorsed the court’s decision as upholding the constitutional right of religious freedom are expected to block the measure.
The GOP has dismissed the bill as an election-year political stunt, designed to boost struggling incumbents. The contraception bill, Republicans say, has no chance of becoming law.

Why is the government in the contraceptive business? It’s ridiculous.
Contraceptives are still included in insurance policies. Hobby Lobby will not be required to include "the killers".
Why should the government be able to mandate *any* coverage that Hobby Lobby provides? What, and how much, coverage should be decided by the business, not the government.
There is a word for governments dictating to businesses how they must operate. It is called “fascism.” It is a form of socialism.
The GOP candidates need to get in front of this message and tell voters the truth of what the Hobby Lobby victory entails. They too often sit back and let the DEMS control the message and that’s why we lose elections and yes, even women voters who are ignorant of what is going on.
You perhaps are thinking that the Whigs will muster courage and fight back? Silly, silly!

With the proliferation of display devices, screens now come in a wide variety of sizes and aspect ratios. The image below illustrates the range of screens possible. Differing aspect ratios are shown on the diagonal lines with the ratio in circles towards the lower right.
Given the wide variation in screen resolution and size when we step from mobi to fondleslab to display to HDTV it is lunacy to specify screen position in term of pixels. There is no way to know what sized screen you are imaging to so it is best to reference screen sizes and positions in percentages instead of pixels. The resulting size is the percentage of the width (or height) of the enclosing container. This is most useful when specifying positions and sizes of tables and images.
Things that are text related, such as the whitespace around a paragraph or header and text sizes are best specified in em. One em was origionally the width of an M in the current font. In a multilingual world where not all alphabets have an M in them, the meaning has evolved to mean the height of the current font. As the user changes the magnification on a page the size of an em changes with it. This produces a pleasing scaled effect to the eye not possible when spacing objects in pixels.
Other unit values available are in inch, cm centimeter, mm millimeter, ex x-height of a font (x-height is usually about half the font-size), pt point - 1/72 of an inch, pc pica - 12 points and px pixels - a single dot on the screen. Best results are achieved by using em and percent to specify size. Try not to do anything else.

No problem. It’s a generally slick trick that works well with tables too. The width is relative to the size of the enclosing container, so where FR displays columns, the width is that of the column you are in, not the entire screen/page.
The majority of women will want this, because it has been played as a “We MUST HAVE IT” issue.
Just like HRC will be the next president.
The fact that women want to force their employers into their uterus is very odd to me.
