Earlier this week, Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina held a joint press conference to formally announce a new program that will allow Guatemalan citizens to legally travel through Mexico in their effort to enter the United States illegally. Guatemala is one of three sending countries accounting for most of the illegal aliens coming across the U.S.-Mexico border during the ongoing surge. The agreement grants Guatemalans 72 hours of legal status while they make their journey to the U.S.

Hooray! We’ve all agreed! The 60% of US citizens who work for a living will adopt the entire third world - no matter what their spending habits or destructive impulses! They don’t need to work diligently to improve their lot, because the US will adopt them!
Hooray! All the world’s problems are over!

Its time to invade Mexico and Guatemala.
You have confidence in our current military's abilities to INVADE some other country? Probably you were jesting; I don't know.
To: TigerClaws
How is this not a declaration of war on the US?

Tongue in cheek I was!
It’ll take a few years to rebuild our military to the point we can do something significant.

You might think something really heavy is getting set to come down on us sooner rather than later. Congress is afraid to resist the Executive Branch on anything. The entire Judicial Branch is one Supreme Court vote away from Marxist. Freedom of the press is disappearing faster than you can boil a frog.

Perry, Brewer, and the State Governors should declare a State of War or a State of Invasion under Article 1, Section 10 of the US Constitution:
No State shall...engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.
They can not only deploy their own State militaries but the Federal military would be required to come to their aid under Atrilce 1, Section 4:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence.
The States could also then arrest any one, including Federal, city, and local officials, for giving Aid and Comfort to the Enemy and try them for Treason. The usual punishment for Treason during a time of War is Death.

Itll take a few years to rebuild our military to the point we can do something significant. Our military can MINE our own border for starters. The mines can be the barrier while a WALL is being built.

The Executive Branch has not had a serious intention of doing anything like this (stanching illegal immigration through Mexico) since a Reagan conservative was denied Reagan's third term. Their entire plan of defending America is to train drones on those who disagree with the Executive Branch policies and speak out in opposition. Poof! Gone.
