"This is the video of my experience with SLCPD the day I was told my best friend was shot. at my own Back Yard."
Weimaraner dog shot dead in owners back yard by police who were searching for missing three-year-old boy
Sean Kendall said the Salt Lake City animal control department contacted him and told him a police officer had shot his dog in the head. Kendall said that the dog had been locked up in the fenced backyard of his house.
He drove home and demanded answers about the incident from several police officers who were outside his house.
Yep...i agree 1000%. I guess I was speaking to those who just hate cops because they exist, and can be the most visible part of the govt. I have been an LEO for 23 years. I see both sides here, because I was raised to have respect for others and the law. I see those that have no respect come and go. I watch as new crop after new crop of recruits come in. With each passing year, it seems the recruits reflect societys entitlement mentality. So now there are sworn and non sworn that are destined to clash. Cops need to be held accountable. I have no issues there. What irritates me is out of the hundreds of thousands of calls handled every day by good guys...the dog shooters and amendment violators always sully the reputation of those who take the profession to heart. I know these incidents need to be shown the light of day...it just makes my job harder...my rant...sorry.
Not if they round them up first.
Like the man in Connecticut told the police at the town hall meeting concerning gun confiscation:
You dont come to our houses and we wont go to yours.
The feds illegally obtained CCW information from all the states. They know who to go after first. State police on the East Coast are already using that information to pull people over from out-of-state who have a CCW in their home state, hoping to find a firearm in the car so they can put them away for ten years.
“sworn and non sworn that are destined to clash.”
Can you explain to me what that means? Sworn and non sworn?
I thought all Officers were sworn in...?
Last Independence Day I participated in an “open carry” parade in Westcliff, CO. There were over 550 of us openly carrying. About a third of the county population participated and people from surrounding counties were there. At the head of the parade were 4 County Sheriffs.
That’s great for you. For awhile. My county sheriff is a Left-wing Democrat. But dead sheriffs aren’t going to have much to say about anything when the time comes.
You’re right and they know it.
Custer County is mostly conservative (about 70%) so it is unlikely that a gun grabber will be elected sheriff anytime soon.
