President Obama, tired of waiting for Congress to act on immigration reform, is currently exploring ways to address issues with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson.
During an interview with MSNBCs Chuck Todd, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that the Obama was getting impatient with Congress.
[W]ere not just going to sit around and wait interminably for Congress, he explained. Weve been waiting a year already. The president has tasked his Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson with reviewing what options are available to the president, what is at his disposal using his executive authority to try to address some of the problems that have been created by our broken immigration system.
Earnest added although Obama was exploring executive action, it was not a substitute for robust Congressional action on immigration reform.
Thats why were trying to focus on getting that done, he concluded.
Obama has been heavily criticized after his 2012 executive decision to defer the deportations of some young illegal immigrants which critics argue was a key incentive for more children to cross the border illegally.

Hey that makes sense, mac daddy can make up laws as only he sees fit.
I’ll see that bet, and raise you $20 FReeper dollars...
I’m calling my bookie in Vegas...He can work the odds better than anyone...
;-)
Ummm ... I thought that’s what Congress was supposed to do!
Obama: “Supreme Who?”
How many bills has the house sent to your party's dem controlled senate which have not been acted upon. Seems to me that is where Obomhole should address his concerns about in- action.
BTW, Josh ole boy, failure to pass laws they deem inimical to the nation's well being is not a failure of anything more than not caving into the emperor's whims.
The press secretary is announcing the Hero of Benghazi’s intent to violate the law.
With every silver lining, there is a dark cloud! (Reid)
This is what “civil disobedience” is about - refuse to obey the unjust law, and be prepared to take the consequences. The arrest and perhaps the trial and sentence may be imposed, but that is what appeals courts are for. At some level, some judge will exercise conscience in obeying the Constitution, and the injustice of the law is revealed for all to see.
If they bother to look.
Ahhhh, ok...Got it...No prob...
“At some level, some judge will exercise conscience in obeying the Constitution, and the injustice of the law is revealed for all to see.”
But at this level, I can’t see many people rolling that pair of dice, just to make a point...
If you desire to live on the edge, that’s cool, I’m with ya...
Just make absolutely sure that your affairs are in order, and your assets protected and controlled by someone close to you that you trust not to screw you over...
Cause the ride you take lasts longer than 8 seconds cowboy...hehehe, no prob, muh man!!!
1) Klinton likes women, and
2) After getting his a** handed to him in '94, at least Klinton understood the limits on his power. The Obammunist just doesn't give a shi'ite.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
Kinda like Hitler, Mao, Stalin.... doing it “for the children” no doubt.
W T F!!??
That is still a mild case of Normalcy Bias.
The Courts are as corrupted as the Federal Beast is. Despotism is what will be revealed when we defy the edicts of the Crown, not some 'come to Jesus moment' that a judge will suddenly come to when the courts uphold tyranny.
They will rule "The law is the law" even if it has no legitimacy whatsoever.
Think William Wallace being told he is a subject of a tyrant even though he never recognized his rule over him. We are now in the same boat.
Uh, yes you will.
Let me know when the shooting starts.
This is Congress’ fault. They can rein in the Executive Branch. That’s their duty. The Constitution is very clear on the Executives power and limits.
The Founders were very aware of the dangers of kings and democracy. Us, not so much.
He sounds like one of those 18 year old Olympic stars who says they have been working their whole life for this....
