If it comes to being forced to marry gays, then the churches can opt out of LEGAL marriage contracts. Tell your parishioners to go get the legal thing done in front of a Justice of the Peace, no fanfare, and then have a church wedding without the legal paperwork/consequences.

They can legalize it all they want but it doesn’t make it so, any more than you can vote to make a dog’s tail a leg, giving dogs five legs.

Obama Expands Family Leave Rights of Gay Couples

The Obama administration will work to ensure that gay and lesbian Americans are eligible to take leave from their jobs to care for a same-sex spouse, regardless of whether they live in a state that recognizes gay marriage, the White House said Friday.
President Barack Obama is directing the Labor Department to start drafting rules making clear that the Family and Medical Leave Act applies to same-sex couples, allowing gay and lesbian employees to take unpaid leave to care for a sick spouse regardless of where they live. The move comes three years after the Obama administration stopped defending the Defense of Marriage Act, which lets states refuse to recognize gay marriages performed in other states.
You are correct. However, the spear in our face is the immediate threat. Homosexuality is but one face of the totalitarian Left, and the Left is perfectly fine to let them be the enforcers of the entire agenda.

I can also see a time where preaching or stating anything but support of homos and gay marriage will be considered hate speech and criminalized.

Yep; People have a right to boycott a business if they don’t like you, but a business doesn’t have a right to decline to make you a wedding cake if you’re making a mockery of marriage.
